Hands down the best restaurant in the Seychelles (and possibly the world?).

It has it all. Del Place is not your average restaurant, from stepping foot into this amazing place to leaving, it's perfect from start to finish...the restaurant itself, the amazing live band, stunning sunset views sitting over the ocean, incredible culinary creations and perfect drink mixology (using homemade fruit infused rum!) with extensive wine list and dessert offerings. All of this perfection is topped by the top secret ingredient: incredible refined service that bests service received in any fine dining globally. The entire staff works seamlessly and any meal, be it a special occasion or non, is turned magical by the entire team. The tableside visit by the manager and team are sincere and gentile. And I think this is the first fine dining meal I've ever had not to be interrupted by the hollow modern question of "how is everything?". The talented team didn't need to, they were moving with such precision and grace that every need was met unspoken, and the ability to have such a lovely meal, while also catering to a family of 4 with love and smiles, was wonderful.

Apologies for not seeking his name, but the tall gentleman who served us was particularly exceptional and combined with the bartender, the chef, the entire team, and the band to make for a hands down best dining experience in a very very long time. I fully predict Del Place to be the new hotspot for the world's biggest names, and still maybe the smallest names - all having a most exceptional experience. Del Place is a must visit in your...

Don't go there! Such a nice place but so disappointing overall. The restaurant was almost empty, we wanted to go in, but a lady stopped us at the entrance until we'll be escorted inside the almost empty restaurant. She went in and we were waiting, we never saw that lady again. Couple minutes later another lady came out from the souvenir shop and she escorted us inside and she asked where we wanted to sit. We said that of course table with an ocean view, but she said we cannot, because we'll just have a coffee and some drink while enjoying the view and not having a full dinner. As I mentioned before, the restaurant was almost empty with several empty tables with the view. She offered us the so called "bar" chairs, what is actually a kitchen countertop with an actual kitchen sink (!) between us. We were sitting there for a couple of minutes and nobody offered us a menu or asked what we wanted (again: the place was almost empty, but the staff didn't care at all), so after waiting some time with our kitchen sink view, we left without drinking or eating anything. No one said goodbye or asked why we are leaving or asked for our order during the entire time. Absolutely disappointed and not recommended at all. Seychelles people are so friendly and hospitality is amazing, but this place was absolutely the worst place during our whole holiday....

Del Place Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that truly impresses on multiple fronts. First and foremost, the food is exceptional. Each dish is crafted with care, showcasing fresh ingredients and bold flavors that tantalize the taste buds. Whether you’re indulging in seafood, pasta, or their delectable desserts, you’re in for a treat.

The service complements the culinary delights perfectly. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need is met without being intrusive. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Hygiene is clearly a priority at Del Place. The restaurant maintains immaculate cleanliness, from the dining area to the restrooms, which adds to the comfort of your meal. It’s reassuring to know that you’re dining in a well-kept environment.

Lastly, the views are simply breathtaking. Situated by the beach, the restaurant offers stunning vistas that make your meal even more enjoyable. Watching the waves while savoring delicious food creates a memorable atmosphere that is hard to beat.

In summary, Del Place Restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for great food, attentive service, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for a perfect...

Disappointing experience After all the rave reviews on trip advisor we thought this place was going to be magical, but it really did not deliver. The server was fantastic, but there was only two of them working on a Saturday night so service was incredibly slow. Unsure why they had two people on the front desk checking people in, and perhaps they should have helped the servers on a busy Saturday night. Meal worked out to £200 GBP, for 2, which would have been fine but it was some of the worst food I’ve eaten. Starters were ok, mains were terrible, beef was a very poor cut, tough, and completely overcooked. Lobster should have been perfect (for £75) it was so dry. The sauce to come out with it came late, we had waited 90 minutes for our main by this point absolutely starving and had eaten it by the time the sauce came out. Deserts were ok. We had to wait so long for our food that we were late for our baby sitter by an hour! We wanted to love this place, but it was incredibly disappointing and I’m confused how they are number one on the island on trip advisor

Great place for lunch, great view, food is just fine despite the great ratings and how it's viewed locally. Service overall below average. Mentioned to whom came across as a supervisor that there is no consistency in coffee despite having them one after another and not in different days. He didn't really acknowledge or offered to change it. I believe he is in need of training not only the staff. Best and nicest was a gentleman behind the bar with lighter hair and eyes who was attentive and came across to make more effort compared to the others. Had several dishes like grouper whole fish, red snapper which seems to be speciality there, fish burger. The trio fish degustation appetizer which consisted in raw tuna, smoked jobfish and a cooked one as spread and was barely average despite recommendation. Great view and the drinks are decent. A place with great potential but more effort has to be made in managing it.
