This is one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore in terms of food quality.

Manja Ninja Salad: 3.5 stars
---- DRINKS ----
Turmeric Latte: 5 stars Minor Figures Oat Milk. Happy Happy Soy Boy Soy Milk. Both absolutely delicious.
Kombucha Spritzer (Dragonfruit Lime): 4.75 stars
Kombucha Spritzer (Watermelon Passionfruit): 4.75 stars
Hot Chocolate: 4.25 stars With oat milk
Kombucha Spritzer (Orange Turmeric): 4 stars There's a LOT of turmeric in here... I had to make sure to lift up my straw so as not to drink up all the spice sediment at the bottom. If you're a turmeric fan you'll love it!
Matcha Oat Latte: 3.5 stars Generous portion but too watery.
---- SWEETS ----
Waffles: 5 stars (Note to self: remember to ask them to omit the maple syrup next time.) Hehe i'm pretty sure this is a (at least partial) glutinous rice flour recipe because I have a similar recipe for mochi buttermilk pancakes. Perfect texture of crispy and chewy.
Rose Lychee Cake: 4.75 stars Moist and delicious. Frosting a bit sweet but I just scraped it off. Love that they bothered to warm it up without me having to ask - the staff here are awesome!
Earl Grey Lavender Lemon Cake: 4.5 stars Lavender is spicy.
Burnt Cheesecake: 4 stars
---- RICE-CREAM ----
Rose Coconut: 5 stars
Peanut Cookie Dough: 4.75 stars
Morning Mint: 4.5 stars Slightly too sweet but one of their best flavours.

Tropical Coconut: 4 stars
Roasted Black Sesame: 4 stars
Strawberry: 3.5 stars Decent (non-artificial) strawberry flavour but too sweet.
Earl Grey Lavender: 4 stars Actually 3.5 stars from me, but my Mum loved it. Warning: it's very strong on the lavender, and I found the texture a bit icy.
Chocolate Hazelnut: 2.5 stars
Cone: 4.5 stars Wonderfully crispy and big enough for 2 scoops (a bit too big for one scoop - a problem easily rectified next time 😂)
To Try: Alpha Nuggets, Wraps, Puninis, Pasta,...
Read moreThe moment we walked in, we were greeted by the single staff manning the register. It was distant and in the simplest terms, rude.
I asked if soup was available which garned a blank reaction so I made mention of the value deal which is still up online. He says there is no soup.
Alright, so we begin flipping through the menu which was a few tiny pieces of paper printed with black ink, no creativity put into it. There was not even an individul menu so we had to stand at the counter flipping through those pages. Halfway through, he tells us only the large sizes are available for the pizza options. Again, this was not put up online and their opening hours are pretty late so it did not make sense to call ahead to ask. We might not have gotten a proper answer either way. So there was no soup and only large pizza options. We go on to order one of the pizzas along with a cappuccino. We were not asked about the temperature so the lower price option (hot) would have been assumed. We ordered a brownie as well.
He put in some effort into making the cappuccino but it was quite honestly jarring. It could be because of the counter being too close to the seating or sounds being amplified due to the AC. When our order arrives, it was a shock to realise the temperature bordered on cold. It was very slightly warm but could not be considered a 'cold' option since no ice was added. This was disppointing.
The pizza was thin, with the crust dehydrated. This was just the right thickness and the toppings were unique. However, there was not enough cheese for something described as "cheesy". The ham bits were very minimal also. The arugula was generously added on top. Sun-dried tomatoes provided the tanginess which balanced this 🍕
The brownie tasted sweet and some crumbly bits elevated the texture. The nuts sprinkled on top were excessive and made it bitter. This slice was kept outside for a few hours and when it was consumed once more, it tasted odd. The oil had turned. A word of caution if you are keeping this out for a few hours, maybe consider storing it in the fridge?
The customer service could greatly be improved upon. Towards the end, we were the only ones left and the staff member just sat behind the counter. I realised he had even forgotten to give the receipt only after I left! This made for an uncomfortable experience, needless to say.
If changes are made to the menu, kindly update on all platforms so people can make informed choices before reaching...
Read moreAfter a full lunch, wish to have a dessert to complete our craving. We pop into this restaurant nearby and ordered a fluffy waffles ice cream. First, they requested us to download their menu. And we have to order the dessert from their counter. The restaurant was not crowded, and there are 4 crews behind the counter, and 1 crew was outside to receive and attending customers. We waited more than 15mins for our ice cream to be served. This waiting is far too long, even we just had our lunch. We didn't expect them to take so long to serve foods to their customers. We noticed that 3 crews behind the counter were talking and chatting continuously. Only one man was very focus on preparing customer's meals. For the ice cream, I ordered single scoop, gula melaka waffles. When it was served, the crew told me they put on some gula melaka sauce on the ice cream. The ice cream was too sweet, so it must definitely has to go with the waffles. The waffles are tasty and there is a level of fluffy as mentioned. But the waffles were not able to stay crispy for too long. Unlike the creamery ice cream which we ate at Toa Payoh (was the best waffles). The damaged was $8.50 Not going back because my friend dislike the fishy smell when entering...
