Carl’s Jr @ King Albert Park — Restaurant in Singapore

After two and a half years of no western fast food. I had a craving for a burger but didn't want to pay $50 SGD for a gourmet burger. Ended up here where it says boldly "Taste of California " as I was born there and know what it should taste like, I ordered a super tar burger with onion rings. So here's the scoop. Burger and onion rings warm nearly cool. After waiting longer than fast food time I had to go up and ask where my order was. I told the cashier I was sitting outside in direct view of the front counter. So after I enquired of my order within a minute it came out. Sorry I my view this is pretty poor service from a "made fresh to order", fast food restaurant. Fresh to order should have come hot! I'm in Singapore for goodness sake. Otherwise flavoursome but didn't come with napkins/serviette and they were not available at a self service table.

Visited KAP branch at about 610pm on 27 Oct 2023, when the crowd was building up. during our 2.5 hr visit, the condiment and tea station were empty despite multiple requests from customers to refill. staff sought out understanding that they were busy fulfilling orders. we tried to be patient but can they understand we need the salsa to complete our burgers? we also came for Carl's junior home made ice lemon tea. we gave up asking after the 3rd time as staff say there's no more tea (at the beginning of dinner time?) if we were informed that there would be no salsa and tea, i would not order so many sets with drinks, as many of us do not drink soft drinks . i felt very short changed for the sets meal i paid. we left at 830pm and drink station and condiment station were still empty and miserable. very disappointed with lousy service and standard of this branch. pls improve as we actually love...

Positives: the food was very good, especially the western burger, it was delicious. However, I still can't believe how they scammed us by making us pay another $10! We had 4 people, and we tried to pay all of them with cash, but then we decided to pay separately because one of us was using a credit card to pay for himself. The staff there then gave us our money back to pay separately. However, I only got $30 back(I paid $40 for two people)!!! We counted the money again and even checked the floor, and we were sure that they only gave us $30. After that, we asked for the reason why we only received $30, but they weren't even bothered to check the floor on that side! We were then asked to pay another $10 for our combo meal. I wish I never have to...
