ChaoNiu Hotpot delivers you a beefy good hotpot experience through their 潮牛火锅吃法 (Chaoniu Style), offering you the only complete beef hotpot restaurant experience in Singapore through their freshly brewed broths, 18 types of beef cuts and their 100% handmade springy beef balls right here in Bugis Duo Galleria.
During my visit, I ordered the S$168 Beef Feast for 3-4 pax, which consist of 8 Beef Cuts (Topside, Shank, Blade, Cheek, Sirloin, Chuck, Neck, and Flank), 3 Platters (Beef Offal Platter, Meatball Platter, and Vegetable Platter), Chaozhou Vermicelli, and Pan-Fried Dumplings. But for those of you who are visiting with lesser people, you can alternatively order their $88 Calf Feast for 2 pax, which consist of 5 Beef Cuts, 2 Platters, and 1 Chaozhou Vermicelli. As for the broths, I selected the Spicy Nourishing Broth and Chao Shan Beef Broth for a total of S$17.00.
One thing I cannot deny about ChaoNiu Hotpot is that from the ambience to the service and even to the selection, flavour, and quality of the food, ChaoNiu Hotpot absolutely nailed it all to near perfection. You get 8 Beef Cuts, all of which are individually labelled from No. 1 (Shank) to No. 8 (Flank) such that you only proceed to the next Beef Cut only when you are done with the previous. The staff cooks everything for you; The Beef Cuts has its own ChaoNiu Special Sauce at S$1.00 each; The Chaozhou Vermicelli also has its own special sauce free-of-charge; You also get to cook both the Beef Cuts and Chaozhou Vermicelli in the broths that you have selected so that you can soak in the true blue flavours of the Chaoshan beef hotpot on top of dipping them into your own special sauces. Every single component of this S$168 Beef Feast is so individualised such that it just gives you so much room to mix and match and to play around with. I truly and absolutely enjoyed myself.

Read moreThe $168 Beef Feast, and it was a true feast indeed. This option is perfect for a group of 3 to 4 people, as it offers a generous variety of high-quality beef cuts and a range of delectable side dishes. The platter included neck, chuck, sirloin, cheek, blade, topside, shank, flank, meatball platter, beef offal platter, and a vegetable platter. Each cut of beef was exceptionally tender and flavorful, making it an absolute delight to savor.
In addition to the mouthwatering beef cuts, the feast also featured Chaozhou Vermicelli, which added a delightful texture to the meal. The vermicelli perfectly complemented the rich flavors of the hot pot, creating a harmonious combination of taste and texture. Furthermore, the inclusion of the pan-fried dumplings was a delightful surprise, as they provided a delightful crispy element to the meal.
If you're dining with a smaller group, the $88 Calf Feast for 2 people is an excellent choice. It offers five beef cuts, two platters of your choice, and Chaozhou Vermicelli. This option ensures that you can still enjoy a satisfying hot pot experience without overwhelming portions.

Read moreThe meat served for our steamboat was unsatisfactory, lacking freshness and flavor, which significantly detracted from our overall dining experience. Additionally, the service provided was dissatisfying.
Upon arriving at the restaurant at approximately 5:30 PM, my party and I were seated and promptly informed that we needed to finish dining by 7:00 PM due to all tables being fully booked. This announcement was surprising, as we observed that all the tables were empty.
In an effort to better understand the situation and alleviate the pressure of rushing through our meal, we inquired about which tables were not booked. However, the staff's response was inconsistent and misleading. We were informed that tables were reserved for a maximum of two hours, contradicting the initial claim that all tables were fully booked.
Transparency and honesty in communication are crucial to me when choosing which establishments to support. The conflicting information provided by your staff regarding table availability and reservation policies left me feeling frustrated and misled.
I understand the importance of table turnover, but as a customer, I would appreciate direct communication rather than being told that the tables are fully booked when they are not. Despite our efforts to finish our meal before 7:00 PM, the rushed experience for a steamboat meal was not worth it, especially considering the disappointing quality of the...
