"I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experience my family and I had at your establishment on Mother's Day. Your thoughtful gesture of offering a complimentary bubbly truly added an extra sparkle to our celebration. The Chinese fried rice and scallops with broccoli were simply delightful, bursting with flavor with each bite. Additionally, the fish and chips exceeded our expectations - not only was the portion generous, but the taste was superb. What truly made our visit memorable was the impeccable service we received. The staff were attentive and ensured that our needs were promptly met, contributing to a truly enjoyable dining experience. Moreover, the breathtaking sea view provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration, making us feel truly wonderful and adding to the overall ambiance. Thank you once again for making Mother's Day truly special for us. We look forward to returning to your establishment for more memorable experiences in the future."

It was Mother’s Day and my family had been to George’s Pasir Ris Beach a few times and like the food. We decided to try George’s @ Changi Sailing Club thinking the food will be good too. But food was bad. Lamb shank, & ribs we ordered came out cold on the inside, it seemed they were cooked very early and left out for too long and served to customers. Fries too were cold and limp. Besides the food being served cold, ribs were tough, cold and not seasoned, lamb shank was but cold. Fish and chips was hot but was bland and seemed like it wasn’t seasoned. To give the staff credit, they didn’t question us and took the dishes back to reheat and gave us a new set of fries but all our dishes (except for lamb shank) had fries and all were limp and cold and they only replaced one. Only thing that we enjoyed was the Georges Burger. I suppose their Chinese food will be better since we see most customers ordered but this experience we had was disappointing.

This venue used to be "Coachman Inn" and it has now been taken over by another owner. We came to try out the Reunion Lunch set. The food tastes good on the whole. Portion for most of the dishes are acceptable for our party of 6. However, we were rather shocked that the soup was only barely half a bowl. Either the bowl was too big or the soup portion was simply not enough to go round for 6 pax. We also found it strange and somewhat amused that every one was served one piece of tang yuan (the glutinous rice ball) for the dessert and given one mandarin orange each. It appears that the owner/chef apparently lacks knowledge of the Chinese tradition/ belief that good things come in a pair. Hence, the Chinese traditionally would gift in pair(s) and even red packets is gifted in even number. I would still visit for a meal on an ordinary day to try other dishes but not for festive set meals.

Do not come here!!!! TDLR - Service is horrendous. SPOILT food was served.

Came here for a date that ended so badly. The staff is badly trained and couldn’t even take our orders, like they didn’t even know what their restaurant served.

We ordered Carbonara, and to our horror it came SOUR. Had to spit it out and return it. Hoping that a stomachache will not follow…

To make things worse, the service recovery was terrible. They came back to tell us it wasn’t spoilt and they had added wine to it that caused the sour taste. Carbonara definitely does not have wine? And common knowledge would tell you that it was the cream used that was spoilt.

The staff was unapologetic and unbothered too. The place wasn’t even crowded. At dinner time, there were only 3-4 tables of us. We asked for the bill and waited for 15 minutes. In the end, we walked over to the counter to pay instead and the server that was supposed to get us the bill asked us “you pay alr?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have never written a bad review but this place has left...
