Ichiban Sushi is a hit with the whole family, especially the kids! We recently tried some favorites, and every dish was a crowd-pleaser.

The Yellow Submarine and Cheese Delight Sushi were big hits with the kids. The combination of creamy cheese with fresh sushi ingredients added a unique twist that made each bite super flavorful. They couldn’t get enough!

The Ebiko was another standout, with its burst of umami flavor. The texture was spot-on, and it added a nice pop to each bite. The Softshell Crab Hand Roll was crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside—a perfect balance, wrapped in fresh, crisp seaweed that really brought the flavors together.

One of the biggest surprises was the Kani Maki. The freshness of the crab was noticeable, and the roll had just the right amount of seasoning. And we can’t forget the Golden Catch—a deliciously crispy treat that was perfectly golden and seasoned, making it an instant family favorite.

You are greeted in Mandarin and spoken to in Mandarin. This is a Japanese establishment. Parry, Manager, mumbled to himself and talks to you while looking away. Horrid experience. Then you need to ask for ginger as they don't serve it with sushi. The wasabi is in the soya that falls apart by the time your food arrives. I asked for a separate portion and could literally eat a spoon of the wasabi as there was barely taste. Overall, you pay a premium price for service and food that is really of a poor and very low standard. I had wanted a relaxing lunch. I got food quality so low that the sum I paid could have gotten me 5 decent hawker meals. Sadly the service and food standard here has dropped.
