Do not accept reservations, if you can't handle!

Reserved a table for 5 pax for 630pm, when enter the restaurant nobody bother about you at all. When approach to tell the waitress we have a reservation, before I can finish my sentence, the lady just brush me off saying "I know I know"

A table was released to a group that came in later than us, when I tried to ask the lady, she said "oh they made a reservation online" I replied "yes so did I" Then she said "oh that table is only for 3 pax, we are clearing other table for you" Same sentence she used to brush me off since we enter the restaurant.

So I ask which exact table is she referring to that she is clearing up? she just randomly pointed at a family, which obviously is no where near ending their meal as they are still topping up the soup.

We understand it's weekend, restaurants are usually crowded, but the way of handling reservations is unacceptable. Instead of letting us know how long we have to wait despite prior reservation, she just kept saying "soon, soon, we are clearing tables"

We waited patiently from 6.35pm to 7.23pm. The group that sat down before us, wasn't served anything for at least 30 mins. So we decided to leave.

Paid an hour of parking, smelt like hotpot while waiting for an hour in the restaurant, but didn't get to eat in the end!

Worst way to spend your weekend with...

I'll be objective for this from start to finish.

Wanted to reserve a table, but hotline is unreachable. Tried 4 to 5 times in a span of 15 minutes around 7pm.

Proceeded to make a booking through provided Quandoo link for 3. No tables were available, understandable. Had to queue for a bit, but was confused when a walk-in for 4 got a table before us when they came after we did. Would be understandable if they had gotten a 4-seater and we were waiting for a 3-seater to free up. However, we got a 4-seater as well, so it was perplexing.

Made an initial wave of order at 8.21pm, food arrived all at once at 8.46pm. Made another smaller wave of order (2 beef slices, 1 beef tripe) at 9.13pm, food arrived at 9.29pm. At first, it seemed like volume and crowd were affecting the serving time. However, our second order confirmed that it was not the case, still slow.

The food is good, don't get me wrong. I do think that the price to volume ratio you get is on the negative side though.

Would love to come back in the future to see if things improve, but it's hard to make the decision to come back again with all things considered.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was impeccable. The staff greeted us warmly and promptly led us to our table. They were attentive throughout the meal, ensuring that our broths were topped up regularly and offering recommendations for ingredients.

The cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable. Tables were wiped down thoroughly before we were seated, and the staff made sure to clear empty plates and bowls promptly. The environment was clean and well-maintained, contributing to an overall pleasant dining experience.
