Chao yuan noodle - 3.5 stars Taste not too bad, reasonably priced, decent quality. Has mini wok noodles, meepok, meekia and meesua. And also they have full scallops. The malaysian guy (presumably the store owner/manager) makes decent quality noodles and provides fair service. The slightly chubbier lady makes better tasting noodles, but tends to rush though cooking the ingredients. Has 3 to 5 peoole queuing during lunch. Opens till about 7pm
Chicken Rice/Roast meat - 2 stars Decent price, and chicken meat. Char siew is at best average. The rice of their chicken rice I had was horrible.
Dried Ban Mian - 2 stars Excellent presentation, very reasonably priced, staff has quite good service. but tasted extremely horrible.. What a waste. The noodles taste like cupboard, and the fried egg has a taste like rancid oil. I don't get why they usually has the longest queue during lunch (about 4 to 6 people)
Malay Ayam Penyet - 4 stars Delicious Penyet (fried chicken) of decent size, quite pricey (6.5 dollars) but worth it.
Korean/Japanese - 4 stars Also slightly pricier (they do have offers from time to time), but they have got good standards and service (even though the staff is from China), I love their Bibimbap.
Mixed veg rice - 2 stars Huge array of selections, though most of the meats taste utterly terrible. Poor standard. Seems to be priced randomly. They should focus on cooking fewer but better dishes, and use fresh meat instead of frozen (you can taste the meats have been frozen for a long time).

Featuring the Yong tau hu stall that was yet to start business for the day and the economic bee hoon from the mixed vegetables rice stall. Affordable prices. The curry vegetables were nice.
There is a alo a stall selling claypot steamboat with BBQ which included pig stomach soup. Might...
Read moreNice variety of option but I think the highlighted shop only available for dinner, such as Le Thai Mookata, 炭烧屋. It is not open in the afternoon. But there is a 食里香 (Japaness mixed with little option Korean food). I ordered bento set #7. It comes with 3 shrimp crouton and teriyaki chicken. Crouton is a nice try. Downside is teriyaki sauce is diluted in bento set but the chicken is well cooked (outside crispy). The set come with seaweed...
