i ordered ra na crispy yellow noodle. when the food is serve i can't see whether the noodle is correct or not. the vegetable and gravy covered the noodle. By right they should serve me the correct food. i am about to eat, i use my spoon to scoop and realise it come in wrong type of noodle. i called the waitress that the noodle is wrong. she ask whether i touch the food. i said yes, i am about to eat and saw that its wrong. its not that i finish the food and ask for exchange. the waitress scolded me that i should not touch if its wrong. the problem is if i don't touch the food, i wont know its wrong. furthermore, i am ok to accept the wrong food. the way the waitress talk to me really piss me off. she repeatedly telling me that if order is wrong i shouldnt touch the food! it make me feel that i am the one that make them serve the wrong food. Fair enough example if I didn’t order Tom yum and they serve pot of Tom yum I will not touch. It’s obviously wrong order.
Another example if customer ordered non spicy tom yum. when food arrive customer drink it and realise it spicy.. .....can i scold the customer for drinking the soup?
i spend almost $90 for 3 pax, just to get scolded which is not my fault at all. Fair?
I will rather starve to death then...
Read moreTom yam soup came in a claypot which would probably have filled 8 to 10 bowls. The fish chunks at an additional price was fairly plentiful as well. The soup was as spicy as the usual soup when hot, even though the less spicy option was selected.
The large basil rice omelette came in a really large portion. The dish came with what probably amounted to 3 bowls of rice, and a slightly smaller mountain of minced pork, topped by a comically undersized omelette. It tasted OK overall, but the minced pork contained quite a bit of tendon and fat bits. The dish was not spicy even though I opted for the less spicy version.
Pea shoots with chilli while plentiful, was on the salty side, and also was not spicy at all.
Service was efficient, although not very customer-oriented. You scan a QR code and order through a webpage that has some minor UI issues on your own.
The menu omits GST and service charge though, but those are reflected on the website when you checkout.
Overall, while the food is decent and quantity kind of matches the price, I do not think I will return given the...
Read moreopted for self-collection on grab and when it stated on my app saying it was ready for collection I then proceeded to the store to collect. when asked about my order first person told me to wait a moment but did not get back to me and no response was given. After waiting for close to 10 mins I then asked another middle-aged lady about my order. Her service was extremely rude and she prioritised dine-in customer orders first. she told me I have to wait as my order is not ready yet. Don't even have the courtesy to tell me how long more to wait! I have to ask and she said 10 minutes because I have alot customers (hand-signing her dine-in customers) If she cannot handle grab orders then don't overpromise and under-deliver!! I always patronise this store but after this incident I will not anymore I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Food wise Tomyum was not sour at all and the basil chicken was heavily layered with oil on top standard has dropped drastically. So...
