Food

People's Park Food Centre is a popular spot for its wide variety of affordable and delicious food. There are over 100 stalls to choose from, serving everything from Singaporean classics like chicken rice and laksa to international cuisines like Chinese, Thai, and Indian food.

I've tried a number of different stalls at People's Park Food Centre and have always been impressed with the quality of the food. Some of my favorites include:

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice: This stall is known for its delicious and affordable chicken rice. The chicken is perfectly cooked and the rice is flavorful and fragrant. 328 Katong Laksa: This stall is known for its rich and flavorful laksa. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the broth is packed with flavor. Liu Xiang Xiang Mala Hotpot: This stall offers a variety of mala hotpot dishes, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and vegetables. The mala broth is flavorful and spicy, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. Service

The service at People's Park Food Centre is generally good. The stall owners are friendly and helpful, and they are usually happy to accommodate special requests. However, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, so be prepared to wait for your food.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere at People's Park Food Centre is lively and bustling. It's a great place to experience the local food culture and to try a variety of different dishes. However, it can be quite noisy and crowded, so it's not the best place for a romantic dinner or a quiet meal.

Overall, I think People's Park Food Centre is a great place to eat if you're looking for affordable and delicious food. There's a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and the stall owners are generally friendly and helpful. However, be prepared for crowds...

Food - People’s Park Food Centre has a huge variety of local food at affordable price. My go to would be the Mala Xiang Guo, Fried Fish Soup and Yong Tau Foo. I noticed there were a lot of steamed fish stalls too these days but have yet to try. I also used to get beehoon for breakfast here before work. They are pretty yummy.

Ambience - The space is big and there are a lot of seats available but it is still going to be a challenge to find a spot during lunch and dinner hours as this is a local favourite. There are a lot of office workers working nearby frequenting the place. Old folks like to hang around too. At least, that’s what I know until my last visit.

The area was generally clean and had been renovated a couple years back but in my last visit at around 8pm (after dinner time), the area was chaotic and not to mention dirty. Leftovers was scattered everywhere on the table with dirty dishes. That’s a rare sight in Singapore hawker centre or food court as usually people will try to clean and return their dirty dishes these days.

Not only the dirty tables that was a turn off, the crowd of customers were too. While we were eating, a few people who looked like store owners/workers joined my table without asking permission while there were plenty empty tables available. Since it was too close for comfort and the table besides us were available, we just scooted over to it šŸ˜…

I definitely don’t recommend for family to visit at night. Although there are still many shops that opened, at least 60% of the crowd were drunk and loudly yelling. For us 3 girls we weren’t comfortable...

I was thrilled to discover the People's Park Food Centre while exploring Singapore. This hawker centre is a true gem, offering a wide variety of delicious options that will satisfy even the most discerning of palates.

One of the things that sets the People's Park Food Centre apart is the sheer number of options available. From savory noodles to spicy curries to succulent grilled meats, there is something for everyone here. And the best part is that all of the food is absolutely delicious, with bold flavors and high-quality ingredients.

But the People's Park Food Centre isn't just about the food. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of tables available for diners. This is especially refreshing in a city like Singapore, where seating can often be scarce at popular food stalls.

In addition to the great food and seating, the People's Park Food Centre is a great value for money. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. And the best part is that the hawker centre is located just a short walk from the Chinatown MRT station, making it easy to access from anywhere in the city.

Overall, the People's Park Food Centre is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for delicious, authentic street food in Singapore. It's a bit off the beaten path and less touristy, which only adds to its charm. Don't miss out on...

the most value here is the vibe, you could observe this from nowhere in singapore but only in foodcourts. especially those where lot of local are gathering and having fun, drinking beer, chit chating, screaming, having fun, gathering around the hot pot. the vibe is amazing. food is acceptable and price is suoer affordable
