I’ve read over a bunch of the reviews here at different rating levels and reflected on our own experience visiting here. I’d say 2 and 3 star ones are about right. The others are either too kind or too harsh. I’m going with three. To note as some other reviewers have, this is the bar, not the restaurant next door. The two are very different, and I highly recommend the latter. Why do people come here? Because it’s on the rooftop of MBS and it has the Spago name. You may or may not get a good view depending on where you sit. You can basically think of this as the pool bar but open to the public, as the pool area is limited to hotel guests. It’s also priced accordingly. You get two hours. Service is a bit slow as many other reviews have noted, not with the order taking, but with the delivery. Oddly, the food comes out fast and it’s the drinks that are slow. The cocktails are okay, but it’s not a huge or particularly creative selection. Their beer selection is really just sad, especially given the thriving craft beer scene in Singapore. It’s a handful of commonplace bottled beers and everything is 330ml while you’re paying pint prices. Go elsewhere for a beer. They have a fairly large wine list for a place that’s not a wine bar, but it’s expensive and doesn’t really make a lot of sense. There aren’t many reasonable options and, at the high end, you’ve got things like your Screaming Eagle. Really? This isn’t Vegas and I’d hope customers would be more sensible. Whether you can afford it is beside the point. The food selection is eclectic and could be both larger and more appealing, especially for a Wolfgang Puck place. I like the look of the interior but, as some others have noted, it’s not the most comfortable. It’s all basically outdoor patio furniture. It’s also a bit loud, so forget having a conversation with someone not sitting right next to you. Whether all this works for you or not depends on why you’re there and what you’re in the mood for. If you’re staying (or planning to stay) at the hotel, just grab some space poolside. You will have a better view, a modicum of privacy, and can order overpriced Spago food from the staff or by scanning the QR code on your table or lounge chair. If you’re not staying at the hotel and really want to check out the view from the roof, this is fine to grab a drink. You have other options, as well. If you are coming here and want to know what to order, the laksa rolls aren’t bad. Skip the sushi rolls. The burger is okay but not worth the money. The eggplant with falafel fries was gimmicky. Go to a proper middle eastern restaurant if you want this. The cauliflower was okay, nothing special. Their crispy chicken karaage is really good. That’s probably the dish I would most recommend. Comes with a lot of fries, as does the burger, so don’t order a side of fries if you order either of these dishes. Service was friendly....
Read moreWe had the pleasure of dining at Spago—Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant and bar at the iconic Marina Bay Sands—and we absolutely loved it!
Wolfgang Puck is one of the most renowned chefs from America, known for his commitment to using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Based primarily in California, his influence extends far beyond, having been the official executive chef for a past Academy Awards, where he curated the prestigious event’s dishes.
Dishes we had; Starters • Japanese Fried Chicken “Karaage” – Kewpie Togarashi Aioli, Lemon ($19)
Mains • Agnolotti with Porcini Mushrooms – Parmigiano-Reggiano ($28 entrée / $38 main) • Charcoal-Grilled Cheeseburger – Gruyère, Aged Cheddar, Garlic Aioli, Smoky Onion Jam ($36)
The Food Experience Starting with the Karaage Chicken, it was absolutely delicious! Each bite delivered a perfect balance of crispy, golden-brown potato starch batter and tender, succulent chicken. Typically, karaage chicken is seasoned before being battered and fried, and this was no exception—the internal seasoning was simply divine, offering subtle yet warm, well-balanced flavors. Next up, the Charcoal-Grilled Cheeseburger with Gruyère, aged cheddar, garlic aioli, smoky onion jam, and a side of chips. We requested it medium to well-done, and it was cooked to perfection. The juicy, generously portioned patty paired beautifully with the rich, melted cheese, creating an elevated take on a classic diner-style burger. The toasted bun had just the right crunch-to-softness ratio, enhancing the overall experience. As for the chips? They were great—nothing groundbreaking, but a solid side. Finally, the Agnolotti with Porcini Mushrooms and Parmigiano-Reggiano—this was, without a doubt, one of the best freshly made pasta dishes I’ve had. Each agnolotti was delicately sealed and packed with a rich porcini mushroom purée. The combination of the silky pasta and earthy mushroom flavors felt like a classical opera playing in my mouth. Calling it exceptional would be an understatement. I opted for the entrée size, which was just right—especially since we had also shared the karaage chicken.
The Ambiance The atmosphere at Spago was superb, and—wait for it—no surprises here: being at Marina Bay Sands, we fully expected a five-star experience, and it delivered. With breathtaking views overlooking the infinity pool and a vibrant, internationally diverse bar scene, it was a world-class setting that left us eager to explore more.
Overall, Spago exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return for another unforgettable dining experience.

Read morei visited this place twice last year, when it was an ala carte buffet, portions were small but everything tasted perfect, service was fast and efficient when it was buffet style.
Therefore, my expectation was pretty high when i revisited this place today for breakfast again, i was utterly disappointed that the buffet is no longer available and is now a breakfast set where you choose two starters and one main dish but the food were mostly the same so i was excited to have the same food i had.
Then came the food, i ordered the congee which was chicken on the menu but came fish, and were missing ingredients from the menu as shown, told the staff and he said this is a special dish and changed it for me "i felt this was just a coverup for a wrong cooked dish as the waiter whom i ordered from did not tell me anything and the congee was very bland as compared to the buffet styled version"
i ordered the Congee, Dimsum for starters and Western Breakfast for my main dish, the western breakfast was very disappointing, sausages were just about any normal sausage you can get from any cheap buffet place for breakfast, scrambled eggs were bad , like how do you make bad scrambled eggs? and their signature the used to be fingerling potatoes are now breakfast potatoes, i was so excited for its previously crispy bite but all i got was disappointment it was soggy and none of it were crispy at all. bacon was well... bacon.
yes as i mentioned there were 2 starters and 1 main, i can't share with you my experience with the dimsum ordered because? it didn't show up at all, i was so disappointed with the food i didn't even care and left. is it worth 35$ for the set ? no. you are paying for bad service and not that fantastic food that isn't living up to the standards of the name "Wolfgang Puck" standards has dropped miserably and this would be the last time im visiting this place for breakfast. Service was also terrible as everyone seem to be unwelcoming towards you.
PS. didn't take any other photos as it just looked meh.
Definitely would not recommend as there are better choices here in Marina Bay Sands for a hearty breakfast. I feel that the only reason people still come here is because of the name Wolfgang puck, but sadly it doesn't live to its name any longer.
PS again. Assistant manager called my room and said sorry about missing out on the dimsum dish , asked me if i wanted to return up to collect it. rejected as food was already meh wasn't worth going back for that. so i guess after service isn't so bad? + 1...
