Teng Sheng is truly a gem for authentic Fujian cuisine! Our meal was nothing short of amazing, and every dish had its own unique charm. We ordered the Putien Lor Mee, Yam with Duck, Stir-fried Cabbage, and Braised Intestine.
The Lor Mee came with a thick, rich broth that was so comforting and packed with flavor — every bite was hearty and satisfying. The Yam with Duck was an outstanding dish, with tender duck meat that paired beautifully with the smooth, fragrant yam, giving a perfect balance of texture and taste. The Stir-fried Cabbage was simple yet impressive — crunchy, sweet, and lightly seasoned, showing how even a humble vegetable can be elevated when done right. The Braised Intestine was another highlight; it was clean, well-prepared, and so flavorful, a dish that requires skill and care to get right.
What made the experience even more memorable was the lady boss herself. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, taking the time to recommend dishes that turned out to be spot-on choices. Her thoughtful suggestions made our dining experience even better, and it felt like we were eating not just good food, but food made with passion and pride.
On top of the excellent flavors, the portions were generous and the prices very reasonable, making it a fantastic value. With delicious food, great variety, and such heartfelt service, Teng Sheng is definitely a place I’d return to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys authentic, homely Fujian dishes served with a...

Was here on a Sunday for lunch and we sat outside -- they have the option to sit inside or outside the restaurant. The restaurant is conveniently located on the ground level (same level as the road), and near the main entrance.
They have a wide selection of food to choose from -- both local and Putien cuisine, and EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! The portions are big, and very reasonably priced. The test of the food was that we didn't feel thirsty after eating it.
They are also willing to accommodate requests -- if you want the food to be less salty, it is possible to inform them when ordering. We didn't as we didn't find it salty, and the taste was just perfect for all the dishes we ordered.
I will definitely be back here to eat again, and already planning possible gatherings of friends who would enjoy this! :)
Below are just some of the photos of the food we had... Deep-fried Soon Hock fish, Prawn Rolls (yam with chestnuts), and Steamed Chicken (don't remember the name of this dish).
If you're having a small meal and just want like fried Putien beehoon, they also have a selection of one dish meals to choose from. Also very...
Read moreJust like the other infamous Putien restaurant, this one does not charge GST or service charge. The food has high CP value because of that, but more importantly, the food was cooked well and delicious. One of the waitresses also helped us scoop out the sour veggie grilled fish (super nice too even without spice), which was awesome.
We had the 8-pax set for $33 per pax, which came with two chilli crabs, one grilled fish, and a myriad of side dishes (my fav was the salted egg chicken). The signature henghwa beehoon was chosen as the main.
We also added on an order of prawn paste chicken (super crispy), rice, and mantou. There was also free white fungus dessert for everyone, or maybe it was part of the set.
They even serve a variety of local kopi teh and also barley and lime juice and my dad likes coming here with his friends for afternoon tea and sit at the alfresco area.
The lady boss also informed us that those who are celebrating their birthday will get a free bowl of longevity noodles.
Overall, this is a great hidden find inside the ITE campus (B1), which deserves this lengthy...
