Bufet ŽUFET — Restaurant in Bratislava

Update 05/2025 - still amazing. Their krupicna kasa is heaven. They have a smaller breakfast menu now (I think they only make it on weekends, you have to check their instagram).

Amazing food, also very pretty presentation on the plate. Everything on their menu looks great, they also have vegan options. Drinks were ready straight ahead, we waited a bit for the food. All outdoor seating, they have blankets. They sometimes do breakfast on weekends - when they do, they open SAT and SUN at 9 am but tou have to check their instagram to be sure they do breakfast...

This is no ordinary buffet, as this place is a spinoff of the legendary Žufaňa bistro. They offer simple but very tasty food, both meat and plant based, for very reasonable prices. Great Slovak beer Wyvar on tap. Don't forget to ask for a Bratislavský rožok, a traditional local sweet pastry. Žufet can get a bit crowded at times and meals may get sold out but the service remains quick and friendly. Good place. Went here for breakfast with family. It is the perfect place with kids as they can run around while waiting for food. Food choice is great and prices are ok eventhou on the higher side. There is no table service so you have to order at the window. But you get a token that beeps when your order is ready. You can pay by card. There is also toilets for washing your hands before eating.
