Very traditional, not fancy-shmancy but an honest working man poke that you can get only in Hawaii (and now in Bratislava). This is by far my favorite place in Bratislava thanks to its consistency of quality and uncompromising traditionalist character. The owner cares about the product and picks his fish everyday (and legend has it that he kills it by choking it to death himself too. ‘There is this twinkle in their eyes just before they pass on that tells me whether they’d like to end up in shoyu, oyster or want to be drowned in mayo. Údajne najlepšie poké v Bratislave, no keďže nie som pastier oviec a neobedujem o 10:00, nemám to ako vedieť.. Doterajšia bilancia je 3 návštevy a 3 pohľady na fantasticky vyleštené prázdne dózy od niečoho, čo by som si dal, keby strategické plánovanie nákupu surovín v tejto gastro prevádzke nebolo na úrovni inteligenčnej kapacity súťažiacich v Love Islande… Otváracie hodiny do 16:00 nie sú vôbec scestné, lebo veď vždy je k dispozícii usmiata obsluha, ktorá vám perfektne oddýchnutá (lebo po 10:30 nemá robotu) oznámi, že ste maji dojsť na raňajky, lebo veď kto by o 13:00 očakával možnosť naobedovať sa. Celkovo musia z tejto prevádzky benefitovať najmä stavbári z neďalekého developmentu, ktorí pochopiteľne po nástupe do práce na 7. hodinu rannú cítia hlad už o desiatej a nádej na rybací šalát pomiešaný s pol naberačky diabolského ich zavedie k arómam tohto pokè… Možno keď si raz v živote privstanem a dostanem chuť na obed spolu s východom jarného slnka, túto recenziu prehodnotím. Probably the best Poke around. I've been to a lot of Poke places where it's served with a lot of different veggies. This place serves a "plain" Poke with just rice and fish (+green onions as garnish and a slice of lime). BUT don't get fooled by the simplicity, it tastes clean and simply amazing. Clearly the guy who owns the shop knows...
