Reštaurácia Devín — Restaurant in Bratislava

Perfect place to eat!!! Just after struggling with the cold and wind while climbing the Devin castle, we needed someplace to eat. Then we saw this restaurant: looks fancy and no customer were there so we hesitated for a moment, but decided to go in. Were surprised that the price is quite affordable despite the fancy looking place and its super strategic location. Then we got surprised again when the food came with full and appetizing plating. Definitely a great buy that we felt sorry for the customer that came in after us and just ordered coffee because they missed out those great Slovak food. Quiet place does not always mean the place is bad that no customer go in, we learnt that here :)))

Ok, since the lady asked for the truth to be told, here are some pictures proving the place where I was sitting was wrapped up like a tent (I suppose due to the weather). Ever tried smoking inside a tent? Imagine being trapped in a rubber bubble filled with disgusting smoke... Well, that's how I had to finish my dessert in a rush. When I approached this woman about it, she rudely pointed at the tables inside the tiny, badly lightened room with tables, right next to the kitchen, suggesting that was my alternative (when I had already finished my overpriced meal, in a rush) instead of asking her guest to show some common decency and step out of the tent to enjoy their...

Food was very well. Not exactly special but good and tasty. However service was not so good. At first waiter mixed our orders. Gave us expression that we are not welcome just because we ask for separate bills. We get two more beverages but we didn't order that much of them. Menu has an mistake about gluten free Fried cheese. So Fried cheese is not gluten free as you may expect. When we ask for check also was problem. Recipts was taken from us just after payment, i wished To keep my recipt with me for taxes in my company and that's a big problem for me. I feel not welcome here and it was shown to us ech time when we have been served. I definately not recommend...
