Wonderful experience at this new hotel / restaurant in Malacky, just north of Bratislava.

Owned & operated by a local family that did an excellent job renovating the property while preserving and promoting the history of the area.

The restaurant / bar is exceptional and the best in the area in my opinion.

The hotel has only 10 rooms and 1 apartment. Very clean, modern and well appointed rooms. Modern heating and cooling systems in each and well appointed bathrooms.

Ask the owners for a tour of their vintage motorcycles and global license plate collection.

VALLA penzión & reštaurácia is a must-try! We stopped in for lunch and started with two delicious soups – a flavorful mushroom soup and a traditional cabbage soup (kapustnica). Both were hearty and authentic. For our mains, we chose the Pork Segedin Goulash and the Deer Goulash. Both were incredibly tender and rich, a true taste of Slovakia. But what truly stood out was the incredible hospitality. The host really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, it was like dining at a friend's home. We definitely intend on coming back! We spent a few days in this hotel.We travel a lot and have stayed in various hotels all over the world and Valla pension is our favourite so far - specious room, comfortable beds, breakfasts were superb, and the most friendlies and attentive staff. It situated not far away from the train station, so it's so easy and convenient to get to Bratislava ( which is just an hour travel time) and other places.
