Mixed Experience – Great Response from One Waitress, but Inappropriate Behavior from Another

The restaurant is clean and modernly decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The service was generally friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The quality of the dishes was good, and we were initially satisfied.

Unfortunately, our visit was marred by an unpleasant incident. While eating, our young daughter suddenly started crying because she had a piece of bone stuck in her throat. Thankfully, I was able to remove it quickly after taking her outside for better lighting. We reported the incident immediately, and I would like to particularly praise the young waitress: She reacted extremely professionally, took the food away, informed the chef, and apologized to us. She also offered us a voucher and explained that the meal would be on the house.

However, the situation was significantly worsened by the behavior of another waitress (with glasses). Instead of supporting us, she began to argue with us, claiming that the bone could have come from the chopsticks – even though we had clearly refuted this and the young waitress had already discussed the incident with the chef. This inappropriate and argumentative behavior was not only unnecessary but also disrespectful, especially in an already stressful situation.

In summary, the young waitress's response was exemplary, and we greatly appreciated her support. However, the behavior of the other waitress tarnished the overall impression. We hope the restaurant learns from this incident and ensures that all staff respond professionally and empathetically in such situations...

After many disappointing experiences with restaurants nearby, we decided to check out Bonsai Restaurant. Both the level of service and food exceeded our expectations. The menu includes several options for vegetarians, which was very important for our group and is unfortunately not obvious in the area. The staff had no problems with connecting tables, even though the place was quite crowded and there were only three small tables free. Wow, first time here and I was really surprised! It's a small place, but it was packed, clean, and looked nice. We got a table pretty fast, and the service was quick. I wish the drink menu was on the table, though. The drinks were just okay, too much mint and no ice. The gyoza was amazing, and looked great on the plate.
