Koliba Bodega — Restaurant in Ružomberok

I had come here on the 23rd December and also 22nd February this year.

Both visits were really pleasant, staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The menu is traditionally Slovak which meant a lot of pork dishes but there were lamb, rabbit, chicken and beef dishes available.

There is also many other smaller dishes you can try as a vegetarian and also cheese dishes too.

Both times I came here I had the original chicken shienztel which was great, although the chicken ok my 2nd visit wasn’t the best cooked.

Other times we had the traditional beef with dumplings and also tried the rabbit with red cabbage salad which again was nice.

I would recommend anyone who is passing by here to try this place out - portions and prices were really good too! Deffo a hidden gem in the town of...

The door at the place contained an offer of deer goulash for 3.40 EUR, so I asked a waitress for deer goulash. However, at the receipt the price was 8.50 EUR. When I asked why the price is different than the one at the door the waitress replied that there is also a deer goulash in the menu which costs 8.50 EUR and she already brought me the more expensive one and I had to pay 8.50 EUR. I think that the waitress should have asked which deer goulash I want during ordering, because they have messy offer - two goulashes with same name and...

Nejhorší jídelní zážitek za poslední dobu. Koliba na pěkném místě a pěkně vybavena, ale tím to končí. Obsluha opravdu úžasná. Naprosto okate ignorujici hosty. Pan u vedlejšího stolu se mohl umavat. Dva jiné stoly to radši vzdaly a odešly než aby čekaly na obsluhu... Pro druhou rundu pití jsme nakonec museli na bar. Dřív by jsem posel žízní než se dočkal obsluhy. Jídlo? Vyloženě lepší... Přítelkyně si dala halušky. Na první ochutnání celkem dobré. Pozdější fáze večera, ale ukázala, že na žaludek to opravdu dobré nebylo a to nebyly první halušky co jsme na Slovensku měli. Já si dal koleno. Kus přistál na stole pěkný. Dobře udělané. Krapet slanejsi, což by se dalo přežít, když by obsluha byla ochotná donést další pití, v opačném případě přechazi chuť na jídlo. Co ale neodpustím je cenová praktika. Ano upozornění v jídelaku na příplatek při nadměrné velikosti kolena byl, ale aby jsem platil místo 12€ 20€? Protože tak nějak omylem koleno nemělo 1000g, ale 1800g? A nikdo se mi jako neracil říct, že je to skoro 2x tolik než je normální? A co tak čtu recenze, tak jsem dopadl ještě dobře.
