Ristorante Camino — Restaurant in Ružomberok

Me and my friend recently visited Camino in Ružomberok, and while the food was undeniably delicious, the overall experience was marred by the poor attitude of the staff. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing authentic and quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service.

The waitstaff displayed an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. They made sarcastic comments when we struggled to pronounce the Italian dish names on the menu, turning what should have been a pleasant moment into an uncomfortable one. Additionally, when we asked for clarification about the types of coffee they offered, we received a curt response mentioning the brand instead of providing helpful information about the coffee options available.

While the food alone might warrant a recommendation, the behavior of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Good service is just as important as great cuisine, and unfortunately, this visit fell short of expectations. Very good pizzas. The service is slow usually, even when a wait outside and freed tables inside waiting for being cleaned. No air-conditioned, so in the summer can be very hot. A lot of places are signed as reserved, but they are not. The staff (mostly the manager of the staff) is not really friendly if you trying to improve your sitting places. A lot of locals and tourists eating there and come back again (as myself with my family), so this is a sign for a quality place. There is a indoor play corner for little kids. But from other side I saw how a waitress organizing the games with her foot, so I am not sure it is really clean. For kids that already know not to take everything into their mouth...

V tejto reštaurácii sme dá sa povedať varení-pečení a obsluha už nás bude snáď poznať aj po mene. Vždy sme sa výborne najedli a jedlo bolo naozaj výnimočné. Trošku nás ale začali trápiť niektoré veci, ktoré sa tak postupne menili, raz jedna, potom druhá, potom tretia a naposledy sme odchádzali takí trochu sklamaní. Najprv pivo Plzeň miesto 0,5l 0,4l, potom zrušenie kofoly, najnovšie už zrazu ani Plzeň nečapujú. Jedlo: chápem, že sa ponuka 3-4x ročne mení, ale jedlá kvôli ktorým sme tam chodili už nenachádzame na jedálnom lístku posledný rok (napr šalát di polo). Osobne si myslím, že obsluhe už musí byť blbé, že sa stále pýtame na niečo čo bolo a asi už nikdy nebude. Ďalšia vec ohľadom jedla- vždy predtým bolo výnimočné, ale posledné mesiace aj toto išlo dolu vodou. Iný kuchár? Iné suroviny? Iné procesy? Neviem. Najesť sme sa najedli, ale výnimočnosť jedla sa niekam pomaly vytratila a mrzí nás to. Keď zrovnám momentálnu situáciu v pomere cena/výkon tak rovnako dobre sa najeme inde a za menej. Buď mal kuchár zlý deň, alebo to už bude nový štandard neviem posúdiť, ale 4/4 mali to jedlo také mdlé. Bez života.

Čo chcem ale oceniť je obsluha. Fakt sú super, milí, ochotní, usmiati.

Touto recenziou nechcem vyjadriť, že resturácia je zlá, ale vysoký štandard, ktorý mali sa vytráca a kým doteraz bolo pre nás Camino jediná voľba, zrazu už riešime kam sa pôjdeme najesť. Neviem nakoľko vedenie finančne cíti sériu nie najšťastnejších manažérskych rozhodnutí, ale verím, že ešte budeme raz milo prekvapení keď dáme podniku...
