Don't waste your time for this place. We used to visit this place as it was on the way to Banská-Bystrica after Orava Castle. I've read about this place beforehand and it seemed to be really authentic and cool. In the reality nobody met as at the entrance and offered a table to sit on. As we were with a baby we were not ofered a baby seat unless it was at the bar counter and I used to bring it by myself. The staff was extremely unfriendly. Nobody just tried to speak any other language than slovak. The food was not worth of it's price. The only garlic soup in bread was really delicious and awesome. Even the bill has been brought in very unpleasant way. So I would recommend to look for another place for family...

Three families, we stayed three nights at this newly renovated pension, enjoying hospitality of the manager and staff who were very helpful. We spent hours sitting on the open terrace eating the local food cooked home style and enjoying spectacular views. Accommodations are simple, nice and practical, priced very reasonably. Authentic slovak food with good flavor. Served in presentable manner. They have a lot of dishes with goat cheese from the are therefore I would definitely recommend to try that than pizza thst has also made it to the menu somehow. Service was fine and drinks were served fast. We went there after the hike to Choč and was really nice to be able to relax there.
