Gostišče Osvald — Restaurant in Žirovnica

It is a nice little place, nature is about 10 minutes walk away. The room is very simple, with a bed, a very small table, some hangers and 2 little shelves. Staff is friendly but probably overwhelmed, you need to ask minimum twice if you need something (like cleaning the room in the middle of an 8 day stay, help in fixing the door lock). Wifi is not very good, 7 days out of 8 was not working in my room, but that was ok. Breakfast included is self service and ok. For dinner you could order at restaurant, was ok, they are also open if you need something special due to diet, help if they can. First day was no toilet paper and soap in the toilet, afterwards they were more attentive. If you want to take shower more then once during your stay you need your own shower gel since they provide only a single use little sachet. Overall it was good and I will...

My room was very spartan, but, hey, I knew it would be, given I was paying €23.45 a night ...||||... which included a huge buffet Slovenian breakfast. Ignoring the jams, I saw 16 foodstuffs to choose from, and I managed to get in 15!||||The building is wonderful. A proper, traditional country Slovenian restaurant + hotel, with pretty, rustic architecture and gorgeous smells in the air all day. Opposite the hotel is the centre of the village of Žirovnica with a snow-capped mountain towering beyond.||||The staff are out of this world. Friendly. Professional. Zum Standort. In einem Tal gelegen umgeben von malerischen Bwrgen. Auch wenn das Haus an der Dorfhauptstraße liegt ist es sehr ruhig.

Der Service. Von der Ankunft an sehr Freundlich und Zuvorkommen. Wer kein slowenisch spricht, dem wird in Englich weitergeholfen. Hier ist man gewillt den Gast zu verstestehen wie auch verstanden zu werden.

Unser Zimmer. Ausgestattet mit zwei Einzelbetten, die die für uns zusammengestellt wurden. Dqs Zimmer war ca. 12 bis 16m2 groß. Die Betten sazber und frisch bezogen. Handtücher wie Badetücher lagen nett gefalten auf jedem Bett. Ein kleiner Flachbidfernseher hing dem Bett gegenüber.

Das Ambiente ist in Ordnung und für das Land wohl Typisch. Auch wenn so manches in die Jahre gekommen scheint, so passt es zu dem Typ Haus.

Der Servis ist Hervoreagend und angenehm.

Das essen. Für deutsches geld sehr günstig und echt große Prtionen. Geschmacklich landestypluch.

Wie hatten für 2 Personen mit Abendessen und Frühstück sowie zwei Hunde inklusive, 84€ bezahlt.

Am muttag unseree Anreise hatte meine Frau einen Teller mit gemischten Fleisch, pommes und einen köstluchen Salat, 2 pepsi, ich eine Pizza die füe eine Person schon zu groß ist aber geschmacklich toll und ein Bier, 34,80€ bezahlt. Also echt günstig.

Hinter dem Haus ist ein Parkplatz für ca. 10 PKW. Gegeasen werden kann im Hauaeigenem Resturante das suber, uns schlicht eingericgtet ist oder auf einer überdachten modernen Terasse.

Zum Frühstück kann ich bislang nichts sagen, weil ich dieaen Bericht zuvor verfasste.
