Lovely sunday trip to Italy ended not so well. We went to Grado for some drinks and a walk. I always check where to go to eat something new or something good. I saw your restaurant and your good rates. So we decided to visit and try your pizza. We were very hungry because we waited to come empty stomach so we could try with all the taste. When we came we saw kind of full parking, But the outside and inside was not that full. Just normal number of guests. We sat down and they brought us the menu. The staff was nice, but you could see on their faces that they are fed up with incoming guests. And then the wait started. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes. Apparently I didnt read good the reviews because today I see that this is not something unusual. I was so fed up with everything that I just ate everything quick and wanted to go. My partner liked the pizza, he took Nduja. He said it was worth the wait. Although there was a little bit of burnt taste. I took Klasik and I was not impressed. It was good and you could taste fresh ingredients. But every bite there was so much burnt taste it ruined the whole pizza. It didnt seem burnt from the outside by the look, But you could taste the burnt flavour with every bite. And I also ate better pizza with sourdough for better price and “value”. So, not worth the drive and the value for price. My suggestion is that you tell the guests how long is the wait, so they can decided if they will...
Read moreBest italian restaurant in the region! This restaurant serves the best pizza I have ever had in a long while! The owner is very passionate about the food and the ingredients and passionately told us that all ingredients are authentic. He even explained some special ingredients on the menu and helped us decide which pizza we wanted!
The pizza was delicious and flavourful, I recommend the pizza with Guanchale and the Margherita D.O.P.
Sadly we did not take pictures of our pizzas as we dived right into eating them!
The desserts are wonderful as well, in my pictures you can see the Tiramisu.
If you are fond of Italian food and have the chance to visit this restaurant, go for it! You don’t want to miss out on these dishes!
P.s. Thanks for the hospitality and the help when our car...
Read moreRegardless of if you are a road cyclist eager to do the Predmeja climb (lenght 7,8 km, altitude difference 710m, average slope 9%) or more in gravity cycling challenging numerous down hill / trail tracks down the mountain Porka Eva is a place for you. A cosy Pizzeria located at the beginning of the climb recently reopened by a bunch of young people serving house made craft beer and really really good pizzas. The interior/exterior is pretty basic but hey they just opened and apparently need to sell some pizzas and beer to make things shiny. Beside that friendly staff decent craft beer and excellent pizzas. A life saving combination. Would that call for 5 stars? Not by it self but I gladly give it for the enthusiasm and youthful energy of the owners. Recommended...
