Reservation only, and even then, it's not honored.

We had an incredible experience here, yet didn't even eat the food. I read reviews online about how good their trout was and we were excited. I went to their website and tried to make a reservation, but after I filled out their form I didn't receive any communication or email confirmation.

When we got there, on a slow Thursday evening, my parents went in first and were rudely rebuffed by a waitress that didn't ask them for a reservation but chided them that they didn't have one and turned them away.

I went inside to try to explain, and saw a party of 7 guests arriving. They were met with a busy male server who asked them if they had a reservation. The man said he had one for 7 people and he was asked how long ago it was reserved. He said he's had it for a month. The server literally laughed in his face and said it must be a mistake, maybe they got an email telling them how they could book... But the man corrected him and showed him evidence on his phone.

I didn't even bother. It's one thing if they are busy and can only take reservations, but the staff showed how rude they were while rebuffing people. I left and as we were driving away we saw the seven people who had reservations a month in advance funneling back into their car where they had been...

Hi! I come with my girlfriend to Batist restaurant. My gf get a menu and we sit and where checking what we would like to eat. My gf was amazed to see beautiful view of mountains so he sit near to me to see the view. Then the nervous and unpolite waiter comes and says she cannot sit like that because it was no space to serve a food (it was a lot of space in my opinion), we says ok and sit in front of each other. We get another menu and my gf ordered some fish and drink and I asked for 5 more minutes to decide. Then the lady waiter comes and changes the tablecloth we thanks for it, she was so nervous but polite. In two minutes the waiter comes, I said I did not decided yet and then he explodes, he shouted at us that we cannot take menu ourselfs, sit in way we like and asked "what are you thinking? That I will run to you several times to ask you what you want to eat?". Everybody was looking at us, we felt so stressed so we decided to leave. I was about to say sorry we want to cancel our order but when the waiter see us staying he only says goodbye in the way I would never would like to here again, turn in other way and go to kitchen.

So sad I did not taste the food, the opinions on TripAdvisor seems to be encouraging. But the service...

Very rude staff. We walked to this place for over half an hour along a country road to be asked by one waiter with a very unpleasant attitude if we had a reservation. We did not have it so he said it would be about an hour wait time. When I asked if there was anything he could do because we came on foot from quite far, he replied in a very aggressive and inpatient way that he didn't care and added that if I helped in the kitchen then maybe. A few seconds later, a waitress snapped at me harshly to "move away!", giving me a look as if I was her worst enemy because I was blocking her path (which I wasn't unaware of, being a bit overwhelmed). I obliged and just told her that she could've asked me that a bit nicer. This made the other waiter say "Stop! Here is the door! Go away!". After that experience, I wouldn't want to stay there even if he suddenly found a table. If you care for a good service, better stay away. And one word to the owner: You may want to look into replacing some people on your staff or don't get them overworked to a point when they don't care about the customers and...
