It is a homey kind of place, reminiscent of the good old days. Reminds me of those kind of restaurants. The ambient is nice, perfect for a family Sunday lunch or dinner. The food was OK. Welcoming restaurant with attentive staff and very steady take-out business.

The menu is in Slovene, German, and English; our server spoke excellent English and suffered our bad Slovenian pronunciation with a smile. The pizza was delicious and the polenta was the best I've had.

Oggi 3 settembre nel rientrare a Trieste dalla Croazia, essendo affamati, abbiamo deciso di fare una deviazione per recarci in questo ristorante, del quale avevo solo sentito parlare. Scelta veramente azzeccata, io prendo lubljanska, porcini alla piastra, patate in tegame e un'insalata mista, mia moglie calamari fritti, un'insalata mista e patate fritte un quarto di vino bianco un litro di acqua minerale e due caffè, per un totale di 47 euro. Tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato era veramente ottimo, e le porzioni generose. La cameriera veramente brava, premurosa e gentile, location pulitissima e tovaglie che profumavano.
