This used to be an okay place but the too-many-visitors turned this "restaurant" into an industrial, no-soul, whatever-will-do, YET EXPENSIVE place -- for the "quality" of "food" they offer. Today we got terrible "žlinkrofi" with "divjačinski golaž" which, both, were NOT as they are called to be. Žlinkrofi were awful. They were half raw. The filling was a weird creamy raw tasting we-don't-know-what that was! I told the waitor that they used to have good žlinkrofi and he responded: "Well, things change!" WHAT?! The goulash had ZERO pieces of meat. We only got a bit of sauce. Really DO NOT recommend this place. We ate only because we waited half an hour for the food and were really hungry. Plus, the plate cost 15.20€ which they would charge us any way, even if we had left the whole misery. We didnt want to wait for another half an hour plus we didnt want to order anything else, with the quality of something that is a typical slovenian dish getting it this badly prepared.. Kremšnita was also 100% terrible. DO NOT. The whipped cream stood hard as an iceberg! The taste of both layers just terrible! Seriously.. so many people coming here and getting this bad food...
Read moreJako prijatno mesto na jako prijatnoj i lepoj lokaciji sa prelepim pogledom na jezero koje deluje veoma čisto i bistro. To je prvo što bih izdvojio. Zbog toga najviše vredi doći u gostionu. A što se same hrane tiče, ona je solidna, ali ne nešto više od toga. Za moj ukus i shvatanje to je neki prosek onoga na šta mi se čini da su ljudi najviše navikli - meso, sir, krompir i tako u krug, kao i kod većine ili čak ogromne većine gostiona. Nema neke vegetarijanske lepe hrane, što smatram manom i tu i na mnogim drugim mestima. Jeo sam neke njokije sa slatkom pavlakom i tikvicama, ne mogu da se setim sad naziva kompletnog jela i bilo je dosta dobro, ali nešto je falilo. Recimo, očekivao sam više tikvica, a dobio sam samo toliko sitno naseckano-izrendano radi dodatog ukusa i uredu je i to, ali ne mogu reći da je bilo sve to baš na nekom visokom nivou, nego više solidno, nije sjajno. Zatim, probao sam od moje žene iz tanjira meso, Bečku šniclu (dunajski zrezek) i meso je bilo meko, nije bilo suvo, to je dobro, ali nedovoljno začinjeno, neslano dovoljno. Krompir odličan, mada to uglavnom gde god jedem bude najbolje, nije neka nauka. Fali više znanja, truda u kuhinji, pretpostavljam da tamo rade sezonci pa možda zbog toga tamo tako ide, ne znam. Pio sam i sok od zove koji je bio blag i prijatnog, nežnog ukusa što mi je odgovaralo, nije bio mnogo sladak, taman koliko treba. To je odlično, kao neki bolji čaj. Još mi je konobar doneo prvo u malu čašicu da probam. To sam prvi put video možda u životu i puna podrška za takav rad i pristup kada je to u pitanju. Voleo bih da ima veći izbor veganske hrane ili bar veći izbor vegetarijanske, tipa nešto sa humusom, falafelom, sojom... što u nekim slučajevima zna biti u ponudi.
Inače, bašta je super, pogled za opuštanje, odmaranje kao iz bajke i to neke baš dobre... Jedno od lepših jezera sa okolinom na kojima sam bio, gde se može i kampovati, kupati i rekreirati na razne druge načine... Bio već nekoliko puta i planiram još dolaziti, jedno od lepših lokacija Slovenije, pretežno veliki mir, tišina, milina za odmor plus jako lep pogled na alpe......

However the food left us very disappointed. The mushroom soup tasted like knorr powder mushroom soup with the odd mushroom added.
The lamb was overcooked and looks a funny colour in shades and did not taste pleasant. The roast potatoes where boiled potato sliced and served with half a raw onion i am not sure what that adds to the dish. The salad as a separate payable extra had no or little dressing on. Overall we scored the food 3/10.
We would return for a drink but not the food. Maybe it was a wrong choice but it was enough...
