We arrived at this place and discovered that the restaurant only accepts cash. The place was completely packed, with a line out the door, which makes it all the more unbelievable that they don’t accept card payments in 2025. For a business of this size and popularity, this is absolutely unacceptable. A waiter (glasses, long hair) was extremely rude when serving us drinks. When he found out we weren’t going to order food because we didn’t have enough cash, he became even more arrogant and slightly aggressive. We ended up leaving and went to another restaurant just 15 minutes down the road that did accept cards, as all modern businesses should in 2025. Would not recommend unless you’re carrying a stack of cash like it’s 1995 and you like waiters who...
Read moreThe food was good, but the service was extremely poor. This applies to both Slovenian locals and tourists. I visited with my Slovenian girlfriend, and we ordered cevapcici. When we asked for extra sauce (0.50€), the waiter (bald with a ponytail and glasses) went out of his way to criticize us for this request. It was a bizarre interaction that left a bad taste in our mouths and negatively impacted the overall experience. If you're looking for inexpensive food that's a watered-down version of authentic cuisine, coupled with terrible service, this is the place for you.
Read moreThis is a must-to place in the summer. The big burger and huge fries are a classic and amazing value for money. The location is great to cool down a little bit, immersed in the green of the Soča Valley. The river runs just by the restaurant and there is enough parking for the many visitors that stop by every day. But it is open only during the...
