My husband and I are here after a very long couple of days in the mountains - and let me tell you that the pizza at Pizzeria Kot absolutely hit the spot! We've found since moving to Europe that we really miss a good American style pizza, which to us is characterised by a nice balance of sweet and salty in the sauce, a good ratio of cheese, and a firm crust. The pizzas we ordered here hit all of those marks, and we could not stop raving about how good it was. The portion size was also very generous. Be aware!!! I had a disappointing experience at Pizzeria Kot in Mojstrana. While the basic salami pizza and margherita were decent, the service was terrible. The older waiter was extremely rude and disrespectful—an absolute disgrace. Despite asking for assistance three times, we were forced to wait 45 minutes just to place our order. His attitude and behavior were unacceptable and overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal. U need to know what u can expect from such a place (not much). If u go with that mindset it is actually ok. Pizza is good size and value for money is good as well. Of course the pizza is not comparable to a good Italian restaurant, it's rather made of several instant ingredients. However, the staff is friendly and quick.
