Tottapizza Pizzeria — Restaurant in Maribor

Was searching for a Pizzeria in Maribor, called Tottapizza via Google and ordered "pizza with roquette"... when I've arrived and saw the place was inside a Mercator I though "oh no, this is gonna suck" but IT DIDN'T

When they've said, they will set roquette on the side as it would get mushy/soggy on the hot pizza, I knew the chef liked to eat what he cooks. The roquette, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and additional sauce, all came in seperate containers. The doe was just right, the sauce with cherry tomato halves, the bacon was crisp and crunchy. Adding roquette and cheese on top, made for an enjoyable experience.

Another detail I didn't miss, was how they've put a sheet of aluminium foil between the pizza and the box - to keep the heat, to prevent the doe sticking to the box, and to prevent the pizza tasting like a cardboard. Nice touch.

There is only two things that would make self service, even better in the future.. First, adding a small paper napkin - if you eat the pizza slices from the box without cutlery, a napkin is nice. Second, finding the alternative to single-use...

Food: pizzas are big, should have chosen a smaller size.

Dough is one thing I didn't like. The structure is more a biscuit like than the one of a real naepolitan pizza. You can choose between a lot of different pizzas.

In my case, there was too much of the topping (štajerska). It was simply too much of everything. In this case, less is more (or at least should be). The second pizza we ordered (buratta) had much too much rucola - rucola has a very strong taste and should be used in small quantities, but everybody keeps using quantities for cows, not humans. The third pizza (mafiosa) was a very decent pizza, with well balanced toppings.

Atmosphere: nothing special, I'd even say it was a bit depressing. But I understand it is a part of a mall.

Service/staff: polite, fast. Just a comment - 'zdravo' is NOT a...

Pizza ukusna,ravno prav pečena in zelo obilna.Moram vas pohvalit da ste med redkimi v MB in širši okolici ki imate pizzo z gamberi in da ne šparate z njimi in tako je tudi prav👍Cene imajo za moje pojme zelo ugodne v primerjavi z nekaterimi pizzerijami v MB ki mislijo da zaradi imena lahko navijajo cene.Vaša pizza je bolj ukusna od marsikatere znane pizzerije v MB.Zmotilo me je le to da je bila pizza razrezana ker namreč si jo rad sam režem😁 bila je dostavljena na dom in zaradi tega rob pizze ni bil hrustljav saj tudi ne more bit ker je bila pizza v škatli,vrjamem pa da je pizza sigurno boljša ko se bom osebno oglasil pri vas ko jo bom dobil direktno iz peči na krožnik👌🍕le...
