EXPANO Food&Drink — Restaurant in Murska Sobota

Been here multiple times over the last couple of years and it is getting worse every year. At first, food was good, staff was good, surroundings are perfect! Lately the kitchen is closed, staff is invisible… luckily the surroundings didnt change much. For the food part, it used to be nice (not perfect) and since the last couple of times the kitchen was closed, my guess is that it is still nice. On the surroundings I can’t comment much, but honestly, I think the owner should hire more staff or train them better. Even with only a few people on the terras, we had to wait for 15 minutes before even finding the waitress, it took another 15 minutes to get our 2 glasses of wine and after asking for the receipt to pay and leave, it took over 20 minutes before we got it. Lovely spot for lunch in natural, calm surroundings. Very clean, good food, prices a bit higher than local fare but it is worth it. You can have a lunch menu or just main meal. Tasty Gibanica too!

There are children's playground just off the terrace and the artificial lake which you can swim in. The whole area has a large, free parking and lots of information tables.

Don't do it to yourself to eat here. 10EUR dish worth max. half of its price. French fries with literally 4 chicken nuggets. And they let you it with stick. Yes wooden stick. Mayo in sachet is charge extra and they bring it not cold, but quite warm. Outside terase has nice view ruined with loud music drom repro.
