I have been a couple of times in the past 2 years at this place. They surely know how to make a nice ambience. Sadly, this time I realized major flaws in the food and service, which makes me wonder if quality depends on the day/time you visit this restaurant (we went on a Monday for lunch - a group of seven). One of us got his Golaz soup served with a clearly noticable big dead fly swimming on top. How this could not be noticed in the kitchen is unclear. It was directly rejected and returned to the waiter with a clear message, that no new serving is wanted (who wants another Golaz from the same bowl after that?). Nevertheless, the waiter brings another round after 10min. It was of course rejected again. Apart from that, chicken was too dry. Seems that you really have to order pork there. To be mentioned as well, there was no apology from the waiter or the kitchen to our guest (who got the dead fly delivered), instead I received a solemn apology when I went to the front desk to pay for the table (but I was not the guest in harm...). Took my girlfriend out on a date all the way from Zagreb, Croatia. Since we are both meat lovers, we were expecting something special coming here :) and we were right! First we visited the restaurant and had beef tartare as apetizer and ribeye steaks as main course. Beautifully prepared, medium rare, amazing grill that just lightly accentuated the smokiness which complemented the raw taste of the steak beautifully. The restaurant space itself is nice, plenty of seating spaces, you have a great view of the kitchen where the chefs prepare your meal and also there's the kind and helpful staff, who were patient with us choosing what to eat for more than 10 minutes :D Afterwards, we made our way downstairs to the shop, that has a wide selection of produce. We bought some čvarci, kranjska sausages, sirloin stakes, pumpkin spread and dried sliced ham. Definitely will be visiting again when I...

WOW WOW WOW !!! this is a little treasure in the heart of Europe! I am sure people come this far just for the restaurant, which is precisely what we did! we drove all the way from Lake Balaton. First of all the décor of the place is worth the drive alone, it is gorgeous and feels like a little haven. Very luxurious and warm, it's beautiful! Staff is very friendly and kind, you can see the kitchen and the chef working which is always a treat. Presentation was superb, absolutely superb! The asparagus soup was very hot and delicious, and the Burger is probably on of the Top 3 best burgers I have ever had in my life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW so so so good...I got it with bacon and melted cheddar and it was superb. We finished the meal with the home-made palinka liqueurs which are delicious. Definitely (one of) the best restaurant in Prekmurje 🔝 + Food is delicious 👌 Both chefs there are doing amazing job! You should definitely eat some steaks (Filet de mignon was perfect), also beef carpaccio was tasty as hell and for sure huge steak burger🔝Don't expect too much from the cheescake 🤷‍♂️ + Wide offer of domestic drinks, also some quality wine, Bevog beer for all beer lovers and different kind of homemade liquers 🔞 + I really like the atmosphere, some kind of combination between modern cousine and domestic (Prekmurje) vibe 😜 Also very cool open kitchen design where you can talk with the chef and watch the team in the action 👍 + Prices are ok, for dinner (with drinks) for 4 persons around 100 eur 😉 So, if you are in Prekmurje and you want to eat good, quality food (especially meat), Kodila is the place to go 🙃 *don't forget to reserve a table

I was very interested in this company, which runs a shop and a restaurant, and we came across it quite by chance on our way to a neighboring village for lunch. They sell their own and local products (Passera chocolates, tomatoes from greenhouses, etc.), at least you don't have to go to several places. The shop is tastefully decorated and the 12-month dry-cured ham is divine, the cheeses are excellent and I'll try zitra in the pate. There is a beautiful restaurant on the floor above , tastefully furnished, nice terrace. The service is fast, you can see in the kitchen how the chefs are trying to prepare something good for you. We were very satisfied with basically everything, I highly recommend it, it shows that even in a place outside the city something can be done nice, fingers crossed and we won't be here for the last time.

I was very interested in this company, which runs a shop and a restaurant, and we came across it quite by chance on our way to a neighboring village for lunch. They sell their own and local products (Passera chocolates, tomatoes from greenhouses, etc.), at least you don't have to go to several places. The shop is tastefully decorated and the 12-month dry-cured ham is divine, the cheeses are excellent and I'll try zitra in the pate. There is a beautiful restaurant on the floor above , tastefully furnished, nice terrace. The service is fast, you can see in the kitchen how the chefs are trying to prepare something good for you. We were very satisfied with basically everything, I highly recommend it, it shows that even in a place outside the city something can be done nice, fingers crossed and we won't be here for the last time.
