Koča na Pesku — Restaurant in Slovenska Bistrica

We came more than half an hour before closing time (we came at 18:25) and could not get any food, the waiter also said that they have full rooms but it didn't seem like it. It was a disappointing experience after a 10 hour hike and a plan to continue the next day. The staff didn't care about us hikers at all and were really unfriendly + they also said that we should go for the next 3 km to ask for a room in an expensive hotel. There were also a lot of other hikers that came after us, but were welcomed with locked doors. We had to wait for an hour and a half to get the ride...

Deeply disappointed. We arrived at the recommendation of friends. The deer goulash was just water and flour, absolutely tasteless. The same was Pohorje stew. Completely tasteless. We were group of 20, so this is not just my opinion, everybody was disappointed. But the prices are high (steak 9 EUR with no side dish, side dishes are extra 3 EUR; deer goulash and Pohorje stew are 9 EUR each). Absolutely...

Homemade Slovenian homemade food is divine. Homemade mushroom soup with mushrooms picked from the forest, Buckwheat Žganci and Cracklings, homemade roasted Potatoes with Roast and Bloody homemade sausage. Blueberry wrap ....
