Marché Tepanje II — Restaurant in Slovenske Konjice

Very bad experience, will never go there again.

Firstly, the toilets are dirty, and have a terrible smell. The tables in the dining area are put right next to the toilet, so the horrible smell is strong even where people are eating. Also, the cakes are left exposed with no net or protection against insects - we wanted to buy a cheesecake, but a fly was walking on it.

Secondly, we saw staff working in very poor conditions (e.g., cleaning lady mopping up in the men's toilet while men were in there, using the urinals, then wringing the mop with her bare hands).

Thirdly, the paying system is confusing, the staff is unfriendly and communication is difficult as hardly anyone speaks English or German. The restaurant is advertised as self-serving, but the they don't let you serve yourself. They were selling sausages on a per piece basis (one piece of a very small sausage is EUR 1.10) but they force you to buy a minimum of 10 pieces per serving. We paid 50 EUR for two plates of food!

So it's very unhygienic, a terrible value for money, and an unpleasant...

Very dissapointing, especially for Mövenpick Marche standards. No self service, rude lady behind the counter puts meal on the plate. Cashier wanted to cheat seeing us a foreigner, giving less money back. Noone speaks English/Italian, staff just communicate with each other shouting over from one corner to the other. Cant get meal + coffee/cake at same place, had to pay seperate. Worst coffee latte in my life, three of us had a sip, almost threw it out, had to leave it on the tray it was impossible to drink. Like if they had done the coffee the third time of the same coffee beans. Been to many Marches is Switzerland, Hungary and even in Canada, this experience was way below the average. I am very pissed of that costumers should pay for the toilet.

I bougt something in the shop than i asked the staff that how can I use the toilet? She told it costs 0,5 €. She didt even mention that I should first use the toilet than it gives a voucher and I can buy for it in the shop. She was very rude and unfriendly. Not even wanting to help.

I would also mention that the kid are was like a sauna under a glass roof withput any shading.

I loved marché until now, this is why I choose this place to stop here and not another petrol station.

I think I will never go any...
