Restavracija Pristan — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Domžale

I was not quite sure about the place after reading some of the negative reviews about the personnel working there. But we still went there as it was the only seafood/fish restaurant in the area and I must say, that those reviews were exaggerated. The person working there was maybe not always with a smile but I won't categorise him as rude or unfriendly. We were told that we needed to wait if we wanted to sit outside, so we just opted for inside sitting. We ordered the fried calamari Pristan (their version; calamari, shrimps and olives), octopus salad, swiss chard with potatoes, grilled vegetables, a beer and a cold fanta. Altogether we paid 44 euros. I understand that we didn't order any main courses but their main meals were also between 16 and 30 euros. Yes it may not be cheap but to me it just seems like "normal" European price.

The food were tasty but nothing extra ordinary. If you want to eat seafood, then I guess this is the only option you'll get...

A nice place with good seafood and a nice atmosphere. Our overall experience was good but I can understand how some might have a different experience with the waiter. Everything was great; food, service, decor and overall atmosphere. It mimics the coastal vibes of Croatia which is nice. The food was really good. We had a platter of seafood and fish. What was a bit surprising was the bill in the end. Since we didn’t pick everything from the menu, we weren’t sure of the prices of fish but we trusted the waiter in his suggestion and everything was seasoned well and tasted great. The surprise came when paying for the meal. The fish alone was 70 euros and I wasn’t shown the bill until after the total amount was put in the card reader and I had actually paid.
