The rooms look really fantastic, but if you look closer there are little impractical things or some spiderwebs or something like that. The double rooms are good, but the single rooms are too small. If you dont want to open the window all night or sleep next to the sounding airconditioner, you dont get enough air to breath. The waiter was unprofessional and not very kind. The restaurant does not have a menu so he should present the meals and give us a recommendation. But he briefly listed only names of three or four meals, strictly in Slovenian, so we didn't even understand everything, and he didn't bother to explain to us. Il posto è abbastanza anonimo come Kamnik del resto ma è ben posizionato per raggiungere in poco tempo (1-2 ore al massimo) vari luoghi tra cui Velika Planina, i laghi di Bled e Bohini, Logarska Dolina e tutta la valle dell'Isonzo). Le stanza sono molto moderne e costruite da poco (mi sembra 2 o 3 anni fa). La Romantic room è fantastica per il prezzo. Le stanze lato strada invece sono piuttosto rumorose, evitatele. Il valore aggiunto è il sig. Peter, sempre gentile e disponibile e prodigo di ottimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare. E' sempre molto preciso nelle indicazioni e non siamo MAI rimasti delusi seguendo i suo consigli!
Il ristorante invece lo sconsiglio (anche se questa attività nasce proprio da lì!). Vorrebbe essere un risultato raffinato ma alla fine il servizio è lento e i piatti medio scarsi (tutta cucina tradizionale locale). Mia moglie ha preso un pesce di fiume e le è piaciuto molto, io del cinghiale e non era niente di che. Pretenziosa la presentazione dei piatti. Dolci da dimenticare. Vino da supermercato (pagato 28 euro per una bottiglia di pinot nero da 6 euro). Prezzo decisamente alto per tutto il menu in generale rispetto a quanto offerto e soprattutto rispetto a quanto si trova in giro.
Tolto il ristorante un posto veramente carino...ma se andata pretendete la romantic room il piccolo costo aggiuntivo vale...
