People from Trieste recommended us to go there. The place is beautiful but the food was awful. Maybe they only treat Slovenians and Italians well but definitely not people who they consider tourists. The homemade pasta was too soft and the truffel (in the season) was grated in the kitchen and had little taste whereas other diners on the table next to us had the trauffel grated in front of them by the water in a more proper style. They charged us 16 euros for this special pasta dish that appeared as 13.5 euros on the menu + 1 euro cause it was home made. The risotto was soft and greasy They served a glass of red wine that costs 7 euros from a bottle in a normal fridge temperture. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. È stato con grande entusiasmo che abbiamo deciso di ritornare in questo locale dopo un lungo periodo. La bellezza della location che negli anni è notevolmente migliorata avevano alimentato le nostre aspettative, ma purtroppo, l'esperienza è stata del tutto deludente. Gli antipasti, ci hanno impressionato positivamente, mentre il risotto presentato è stato un autentico disastro culinario. La consistenza slegata simile a riso lesso, arricchita solo da qualche scampo e tartufo nero grattugiato, ha reso il piatto praticamente immangiabile. La delusione si è accentuata quando abbiamo fatto presente al titolare la nostra insoddisfazione. La sua risposta è stata che avrebbe riferito in cucina. Dopo un risotto immangiabile e una comunicazione assente con il titolare riguardo ai problemi riscontrati in cucina, avevamo sperato di concludere la serata con almeno una nota dolce. Tuttavia, la mancanza di dolci è stata un altro colpo alla già compromessa esperienza culinaria. Questa assenza ha completato l'immagine di un locale che sembra non aver curato neanche il lato della proposta dolciaria, aggiungendo una nota negativa alla nostra già deludente serata.

Il colpo finale è arrivato con il conto, che si è rivelato esorbitante, pagare 320 euro per 4 antipasti misti caldo freddo, un sautè di dondoli e quattro risotti immangiabili con due bottiglie di vino malvasia è un chiaro segnale di un rapporto qualità-prezzo sbilanciato. Abbiamo selezionato il locale con l'aspettativa di godere di un pasto di qualità, senza avere intenzione di risparmiare, ma ci aspettavamo un equilibrio tra il prezzo e la bontà del cibo. Tuttavia, il conto finale di 80 euro a testa per un pasto che non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative è risultato sconcertante.

In conclusione, il nostro ritorno è stato un'esperienza deludente. Speravamo di riscoprire il piacere della cucina che avevamo apprezzato in passato, ma la qualità del cibo, il servizio approssimativo e il conto sproporzionato hanno offuscato completamente il ritorno. Speriamo che la gestione prenda in considerazione queste critiche per migliorare l'esperienza dei loro clienti in futuro. Sicuramente non...

Amazing place to eat a dinner. Beautiful big garden, ideal to run for children, not dangerous next to the road as most of the places. Staff is very friendly, food was delicious. Definetely we come Back when we are here as it was the best restaurant we ate in Slovenian Istria. Waiters deserve tips as they are smiling and speak good English. One of them also showed us how the mall still works how ever it is 200 years old. They produced olive oil.
