Location and ambient is typically mediterranean, but still green and hidden somewhere close behind the Slovenian Croatian border. I would strongly recommend visiting after a long drive or for a relaxing date. Staff is amazing, kind and knowledgeable about wines and cousine. This restaurant prides itself on locally grown and homemade food. They serve wide variety of specials typical to this region and great selection of classic sea food. Prices are fair for this kind of treatment, but still in the upper levels. Guests from western countries will find it more affordable than eastern ones. You will however get your money's worth of genuine mediterranean experience. I would like to rate 4.5 stars for the pricing of various dishes that shouldn't be priced that high. Risotto with mushrooms was 13€, while turkey steak with mushrooms, potatoes and steamed vegetables and cheese was little short of 10€. Still a fair price but it doesn't make sense. Nov lastnik, nova izkušnja. Veliko in prostorno brezplačno parkirišče v dvorišču. Ob vstopu v restavracijo nas je pričakal nasmeh osebja in toplina kamina. Čudovit ambient v stilu starih gostiln pomešan z delčki slovenske vinske zgodovine in z okusom urejena notranjost. Hrana je okusna, vsak krožnik z ljubeznijo pripravi kuhar Željko. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a smile from the staff and the warmth of the fireplace. A beautiful ambience in the style of old taverns mixed with pieces of Slovenia's wine history and a tastefully decorated interior. Had the place to ourselves, customerwise, as it was an off time. Waitress was very attentive, informative, and courteous. The facility was cleaned, inside and out. We had a fish fest and everything was exquisite. Teramisu for dessert followed by a cappuccino topped off an enjoyable...
