Ošterija Pr'Noni — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

Upon making reservation I had a very strange exchange with the staff. Since it is not possible to reserve a specific table, due to COVID regulations, i asked about the likelihood of getting a table in an area I would prefer, once we are there. After asking this, the person accused me of not allowing them to be kind (!?) This attitude is very unfortunate, since I really liked the place in the past. Hope there is an improvement, soon, regarding this persons' attitude or more generally if it is a wider issue. Reply to Maja: Dear Maja, thank you for your reply. Of course it is understandable your team adopted the policy of not reserving a specific table in part one would prefer. This is not an issue. The issue is your coworker accusing me of not allowing him to be kind. I highly recommend not to fabricate such absurd accusations. From your answer i see it is very easy for you to dismiss customer feedback, so it seems this kind of questionable attitudes are more wide-spread in your team then just the person i was talking to on the phone. Even in case he would be talking to a person not taking no for an answer, it would be highly recommendable to keep kind attitude and especially not fabricate accusations. Best...

We were very hungry, we saw the name of the restaurant from the highway and decided to call in. Saturday and afternoon it was hopeless to find a free table in the restaurant, but the head waiter was able to find us a table for 4 people in a full restaurant. In the center of the hall an open hearth with fire gives a special warmth to the restaurant, boats are attached to the ceiling, original design. All the waiters are men in uniform. Everyone can speak English. The menu is solid, there are many different options. Waiting for dishes 10-15 minutes was worth it, everything turned out to be delicious. The duck breast is rather dry, but quite edible. The steaks are perfectly fried and the side dish is perfectly thought up. Everything is fresh. clean toilets. The restaurant allows visits with dogs, people came to us with two large dogs. Unusual, but did not affect the smells in the restaurant. we will come again. You need to book a table on...

We made a reservation for dinner here based on an earlier visit. The place has an excellent setting, very nice atmosphere and even though it's just next to a freeway you feel completely isolated even when you're outside.

First of all we andre pleasently surprise by the service. Our waiter would offer recommendations knew everyone's order and was all around nice.

And then the food. Antipasti were delicious. I tried mozzarella buffala with slices of tomato and pesto Genovese and basil. Best pesto I've ever tasted.

Then came my aged steak argentino with veggies and cooked whole potato. The whole thing was amazing, well prepared with excellent quality ingredients.

For dessert I had a house special - plum cake, served with blueberries and mango cream. So fresh and light. It was a perfect finish.

Anyway, utterly recommend this place. If you want a nice meal on the edge of Ljubljana this is absolutely on...
