We were regular guests here for maaaaany years. But lately apparently here work 2 very different shifts. We didn't have luck. It started good, young waiter took orders for drinks and we got them in appropriate time, not good not terrible. Then problems started. There were more than half tables unoccupied, but we had to call a waiter to take an order as we were waiting pretty long. We ordered several soups and several main dishes. And hear this, we got all at once. I never in my life, in any of 3 continents that I visited, more then 20+ different countries, more then 100+ restaurants, got soup and main dish at once. And that was not so bad, the soup was so hot that the steam was still visible, which is ok, but the main dish that was brought at same time was cold. No logic. Yet the dessert, (I didn't want to ordered it because of bad mood from before, but my friend did), he gave me a piece to try it, pancakes with grinded walnuts, but not the walnuts sauce (usually with milk, honey (or sugar), rum, etc.) they were raw grinded walnuts, far away from sweet, which this type of a dessert should be usually. After we finished I talked with waiter about "problems", he started arguing instead of making things better. They won't see my family there for...

Service: slow, we were waiting very long to get strudel - probably, the staff was still picking the blueberries. Waitress simply forgot the donut we have ordered, although it was discussed in detail and after everything else was finally brought to the table. Have I already mentioned the long waiting time? She had to be reminded regarding the donut, while chatting to other staff members in the bar.
Where is the professional staff???
Food: we ate only strudel, which was fine. But the service was slooooow (I believe to have already mentioned this)!
Atmosphere: music MUCH TOO LOUD, every second song on the radio station playing on the speakers was Croatian! What happened to the local Slovenian music?

Read moreThe interior is cosy, food average, everything else way below expectations. The waiter made notes while we were ordering and still he needed 2 reminders from us that he did not bring everything or not what we ordered. On top of everything he, or maybe in the kitchen, was unbelievably unflexible (on the menu there were scrambled eggs with some kind of meat, but we couldn't order only scrambles eggs!!). We were there on Saturday evening and live music was so loud we couldn't chat among the same table, so we politely asked the waiter if he can ask the duo to turn it down a notch. He said he couldn't! And while paying, he just threw our credit card and the receipt on the bar, not even looked at us or said bye. But is a bye-bye for...
