Palm Sugar — Restaurant in Guadalcanal Island

Thursday 9th, Ordered 3 lots of fish and chips. Fish had a really bad offsmell , unable to eat. Spoke to the waiter who decided to take 2 plates bk. A cook came out and told us what fish it is and went on to say, there's nothing wrong with the fish. It's a type of fish called (barrakuda) which does have a strong aroma but this fish was off. My brother and I know what barrakuda is because our father had been running fisheries for years. The fish is old , tough and show discoloring in the flesh and shouldnt be sold to customers. We weren't offered not even a refund or if we would like something else but told''!do we understand each other!!. Maybe I would have ordered something else but as it's in Honiara, I was expecting freshly caught fish, but wasnt the case. Paid money for Rottnest...

A popular eatery among tourists, a vast menu but because the menu is so huge they don't really specialize in anything to the point they can actually put their foot in it. It's all "ok", as far as tastes go. The coconut water is always a good choice, hydrates so quickly. When there twice of recently and i found this is the best place to drink coffee in town. I tried long black coffee and the taste is great. The fruit salad ia okay but you need to tell them before hand not to add dressings otherwise will become too sweet. There are many varieties of food but i dont recommended hong kong friend ho fen.
