It's strongest feature is the location - the bakery and restaurant is situated in the old 'handelshuis' with a gorgeous view of the Cape Fold Mountains. It is on the road which passes some of the most revered wine estates in the country and don't forget Simondium's beautiful church. Tanaka was also fantastic: she made my first day at Ou Meul completely memorable, very attentive, great customer service and communication skills. The menu is well curated and the ambience and atmosphere is just so zen and beautiful. The stalls in the complex are also worth the visit. I’m...
