Blue Goose Farmstyle Eatery — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

I gave them a star for how the place looked , but the service was shocking .

My mom and I ordered a breakfast each

Mine was a banting breakfast that consists of 2 grilled mushrooms , baked beans and 2 poached eggs .

Mom had a blue goose breakfast with was literally a piece of bacon , a slice of toast , 2 eggs and we both ordered mince on the side .

The food took over 30 min , mom ordered med eggs amd they arrived soft .

When we said the order was taking too long the owner or the manager came to the table and apologised to then going and checking with the kitchen , to return after and say it was only 30 min and not longer , which is really rude , you never make the customer wrong

And for peet sake 30 min for that breakfast really what takes that long .

When my mom went to pay , the lady Bearley even looked up and didnt say a word .

Horrified at the treatment we got especially when ive been in the hospitality industry for a long time .

Not happy and will not...

Lovely venue and service was ok but that is where it ends. The food was a let down. The fish was grey in colour, tasteless and the batter was coming off. The fish was served without lemon and tartar sauce. The chips were soggy. Salad was fresh but no dressing was provided. The chicken schnitzel was the prepacked frozen type that can be bought in a shop. We requested cheese sauce on side and was told that is how it is served but was served on top of the schnitzel. There are definitely other restaurants in the area who serve better...

Where do I start ????🤔 SERVICE none to speak of waited at the door for a table nobody even looked our way so proceeded to sit our selves down and waited 10-20 minutes nothing man on the computer up front looked like a manager/owner just kept tapping the keys................. WELL needles to say we walked out NOBODY STOPPED US OR ASKED WHY WE LEAVING !!!!!!!!!! to make matters worse there were many tables empty so ???????? Is this a good place NO...
