La Cuisinette — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

So this is my 3rd time ordering from this restaurant and I want the owners to understand exactly why restaurants fail !! All you need us one terrible review! Why would you start serving mutton and still call it "LAMB" and charge the ridiculous price of a "lamb dish" do you realize how much of 'grade-A' lamb you can buy from Woolworths for R169 ?? Close to a kilo!! The first 2 times I had no complaint, so they must have cooked it REALLY REALLY good :( Unfortunately today's "lamb" turned into a disgusting mutton dish! Also, the exact same sauce for your lamb and chicken curry? Come on already, THIS IS BY FAR TOTALLY...

Words cannot do justice to the amazing food, service, atmosphere and total dining experience this establishment offers. The food will tantalize your taste buds, service is absolutely impeccable, staff are friendly and full of life, beautiful, calm and relaxed atmosphere... perfect ambiance for a romantic celebration or family get together. Highly highly recommend. Indeed a hidden gem. Ps: the take away menu is crazily affordable and this place deserves more...

The lamb briyani was not good and I was served a chocolate cake that did not taste like it should. My nephew asked for a malva pudding and the custard was expired as confirmed with the staff. The ceiling is a grey filthy concrete and was not painted. Definitely not worth it and do not takeaway from this place as they do not give the right portions... I have heard of how food it is and previously have had food at the older location. Definitely needs...
