We were so impressed with the renovations and the great improvement at ordering. It really looked like we were going to have an amazing experience and we had waited with bated breath for it to reopen. However, it appears that there is mostly new staff and unfortunately they have not been trained adequately. We placed our order ourselves, all was correct, and we double checked it. Only to have our Mocha's turn Into Mocha Frappe's and when we showed them our slip they were quite frantic and panicked and clearly weren't thinking correctly. We heard numerous times about how they would have to contact IT as there must be an IT issue.... the mccafe guy had to ask my fiance 3 times whether a Mocha was a HOT or a COLD drink.... this was after our food arrived with the incorrect drinks (Mocha Frappes) Then after explaining that a Mocha is a HOT drink (and how to make it), they took the Mocha Frappes and went back to restart our coffee order. While waiting.... our food got cold but we were happy to sit and snack on the chips knowing that service isnt always perfect, that this is SA and to have low expectations lol only to have to sit and listen to the staff talking about us and our incorrect coffee orders (their fault for reading incorrectly) as well as the looks and stares. We were made to feel as if we had caused a problem...which is clearly not our fault at all. Then while waiting, having our food already cold and still very thirsty, still waiting for our coffees.... the mccafe man walked up to a new customer who had just sat down after placing his order, he sat directly opposite me. His bum cheeks had just hit the chair and immediately the mccafe guy was back with a chirpy attitude and told the man that this Mocha Frappe was a gift to him by Mc Donald's as it is a product that they sell here and they would like for him to try it on the house. While also looking directly at us, since we were all an arms length apart. Well.... I was speechless, but eventually started laughing as the man refused the freebie and even after telling the mccafe man no thank you, he was not interested, the mccafe man left it in front of him. Nevermind the other customer, also sitting with us in that section, looked very upset that no one offered him one even though there were 2 of the Mocha Frappes. Poor guy, he looked so sad. So we watched it dissolve over time, and eventually got our Mocha (Hot) drinks. After my fiance apologised for the inconvenience (we were actually inconvenienced but anyway) the mcCafe man said "not to worry sir, we HAVE to give you what You want".... I work in a service orientated field.... my skin was eventually crawling by the awful service and just very sad attitude. We left feeling as if we had somehow stolen something and quite frankly not to come back anytime soon due to the way we were treated. I cant believe you left staff that were so untrained alone with your customers even for an hour without a shining service champion. There is a lot to be desired after that pathetic attempt at fixing a problem that they themselves created. I would be extremely concerned if I was the owner of the store. Read moreI had placed an order on the 25 April @ 18:45 via the UberEats App to Linton Grange McDonalds Port Elizabeth, the order arrived to me @ 20:39 and i live 5 min away from McDonalds, the driver got to the restaurant 5 min after i placed an order and he waited after 40 min of him waiting he had to do another delivery, he came back my order was not ready. i had to call the restaurant and a lady answered the call and she first said they dont see my order and then she was asking around the other workers then apparently she saw my order and then she came back to me on the phone and said they are waiting for a driver and i told her the driver has been there waiting on my order. after the call i waited further more 10min and after seeing that the driver is still there and has not picked my order i phoned them again and this time the lady was rude and she told me i am not the only person who ordered i must just wait then she dropped the call on me. the order arrived After 8pm and by then i had to make quick food for my son because he was hungry and had to sleep. i will never order from McDonalds again i have never experienced such a bad service ever in my life .... the URL to submit a complaint @ McDonalds gives an error after...

If they don't get your order wrong ... than they either give you half fried nuggets , cold fries and acid less drink. When I returned home ,after a drive thru experience of 40 minutes . I took the ood I ordered, just to see that it was half fried incorrect order. I contacted McDonald's and spoke to the manager on duty ,who told me that they were going to contact me the following and replace my order. She told me that they were going to send my 'correct order' to me. That was Friday , today is Monday and I still have not received any call from McDonald's Linton Grange. I still have the 'half fried incorrect order' they gave me and I keep on giving them the 'benefit of the doubt ' But this is the fourth time something like this happened to me and everytime it's McDonald's...
