A spacious, comfortable and down to earth setting with a wholesome outdoor feeling… Close to the city but just out of the hubbub, so you can relax in a garden environment like you’re in the country. Friendly and helpful staff make you right at home and create a very hospitable atmosphere.

A great menu, reasonably priced and an extra bonus is that all the vegetables served and the micro-greens used in plating your meal are grown on site in their spacious greenhouse… Their pizzas are distinguished by the magnificent bases, made with craft beer! Burgers look delicious, carefully presented with a healthy selection of veg as well as fries…. A very well balanced meal! This charming, rustic venue also boats a live “Owl 🦉cam” they are wild life and birding enthusiasts, proud to have owls nesting on the premises… a CCCTV camera is set up to display the nest. I thought that was really cool and unusual… outdoor play area for the kids, games and activities, plenty of space to accommodate large gatherings, this place really has something for everybody… they even regularly host bands and offer an impressive variety of live entertainment 🎵 But I’ve deliberately saved the best for Lást, and of course this is the most important feature of Copperlake Breweries 🍺 they have the most fantastic selection of 8 craft beers on tap, easily standing proud amongst the finest breweries in GP… sadly I was driving, so I only tasted the English ale and their remarkable IPA, which was darker than usual for that style, but crisp, rich and full bodied in flavor with the perfect blend of hops and malt… If the beer wasn’t enough, on top of that and above all is the warm and charismatic presence of the resident Master Brewer and owner of the venue. Brendan is supremely knowledgeable about every aspect of his craft, his love of brewing perhaps matched only by his passion for sharing his knowledge… he offers workshops for those keen on making personalized beer for special occasions eg bachelor parties, but will also just explain the process or the details of whichever brew you’re drinking. I took a Sunday drive today 23/05/21 and discovered this place to my regret, although I was met the owner Bredon on arrival, who seem to be friendly, yet later proved to be more indifferent, even after a other patron told him we were unhappy about something as I was discussing it with his staff. As he did not come to me I went to him and explained what I was unhappy about. I had ordered a carnivorous pizza from their menu with extra chicken when it arrived it was missing half the standard ingredients on their menu, I was still OK with it until when the waitress said they made a mistake and told they will amend my bill but didn't. Then everything turned to a bad experience like the fact that we waited for more than a hour to receive our order. The waitress informed us after already waiting an half hour that they have run out of pizza dough and were making a new batch and will start our order soon, she should have told us on taking our order that they can't perform our order timeously and would have ordered something else. However my dissatisfaction escalated with their waitress excuses and manner of dealing with the fact that they could not keep to their own standard list of toppings, not that they ran out they did not care to put them on as she came with some micro waved toppings as a resolve and even more when I was billed full price and even worse billed more for our drinks than their listed prices, when asked why she said no they are waiting for new prints. I replied she should have informed me when I placed the order or manually amended the menu. Prior to my bad experience I also noticed a group of ladies all complaining amongst themselves about their meals whilst we were waiting, they too left disappointed. Stunning brewery and pub with a fantastic selection of great craft beers, brewed on the premises and great food. We attended the Brewhogs competition on Saturday the 8th of October 2022 which was hosted at Copper Lake Breweries. What a beautiful showcase of entrepreneurial spirit by home brewers, pushing the boundaries and turning out waves of amazing beers. It was busy. The day started with a minor inicdent with our dog, which was immediately resolved by the staff and owner. We ordered pizza and the one pizza was not cooked to perfection, yet still tasty and very edible. We brought this to the attention of one of the waiters and immediately he apologized and returned minutes later with another apology and an offer to rectify the situation. As mentioned the brewery was very busy, there was background music by a live band, which I thoroughly enjoyed as the music wasn't excessively loud, thus making normal conversation possible. I have to compliment the owner, Brendan on his staff and waiters. They were literally running a marathon between the tables and kitchen ensuring that patrons were served and orders delivered to tables as fast as the kitchen could turn them out.
