Elma's — Restaurant in Gauteng

Tembie was our waitress today, she forgot to bring the coffee and juice that came with our breakfast, my wife's breakfast was done and if we didn't ask for the coffee and juice we'd probably still be waiting for it. The coffee served with your Elmas Breakfast is tasteless, just hot water with milk. The other waitress that served the drinks spilled it and we had to ask to have our table cleaned. We visit Elma's regulary on Sunday's and we are very well served by Elizabeth,who was absent today. Thembi clearly can't handle the smoking section alone and need assistance. The manager on duty does not even know what is happening in your smoking area since she was never in there. We normally leave satisfied but after the poor service today might consider going somewhere else...

Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered my food, but when it came to the payment, there was an issue with the card machine. The manager then advised I swipe again. The 1st payment went off on my account even after showing them they said no, I need to swipe again. So, after swiping for a second time, the payment went off of my bank account again. The manager told me they would refund me for the 2nd payment. After many calls to them as they did not follow up with me, they noted it's now between myself...

We go grab a breakfast almost every weekend at Elmas and love the service, friendliness and the food. Our regular waiter knows by now exactly how and what to bring us, except if we tell her to bring menus. The Pap & Chicken livers is the best in town. We have shared Elmas now with friends and family a few times (people from other towns) and all of them say they wish they can have an Elmas in their towns.
