It reopened as a Japanese restaurant currently. I’ve visited many times and tried a variety of dishes. Love it!🤩 Highly recommend the bento box if you want a bit of everything in one meal. And don’t miss the sashimi — every slice is thick, fresh, and satisfying!🤤 I also had the small shabu shabu, perfect for cold weather. The portion is generous, easily enough for two people.👍

It will reopen on April 20th and will be run by a Japanese chef with more than 20 years of experience. The ingredients are fresh! Especially the shua shua pot, pot-roasted oolong, teppanyaki, fried dumplings 🥟, a wide variety of Japanese cuisine, a variety of wines, and fast serving. I will definitely come back and recommend more people to taste it.

On Saturday night we discovered this little gem of a place. The food was amazing, great value for money and honestly the best Chinese Food I have ever had. The staff is friendly and efficient and the authentic feel of the resto just added to a great vibe. If you're in the mood for Chinese, Jasmine Palace is a definite must.

UPDATE! 08/05/2018. Man these people are disgusting!! Their food is still nice but damn their prices are crazy! The owner for some reason went berserk with the prices. Such a shame. They will NOT see us ever again! There are many other places with the same quality but way lower prices.

5 Stars for sure! Authentic Asian look. Their service was excellent and speedy. The food was out of this "country" ;-) We enjoyed almost every bite. The won tons were not what we were expecting....not to our taste.......anybody else might enjoy them.

We had 4 courses between the 2 of us. The mess on the table table could have fed a small dog.

Highly...

Unassuming on the outside and tucked in a hidden neighborhood, this place has some of the finest variety of Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese dishes.

It’s not over the top, but authentic and very great value for money (probably best in Gauteng). Pretorians are lucky!

I recommend the udon, Shabu Shabu hotpot on a winter day and their grilled calamari (teriyaki) is great. The tonkatsu is solid. Their set menus are also offers great variety with large portions.

I hope more people discover this place. Please...

2023 new owners and chef, still an ok outing and a lot of food on your plate, but not the same taste nor care with the ingredients the way the previous chef cooked and dished We share a menu option and still eat more than one should in one sitting, so good value from the volume and variety viewpoint Don't feel welcomed like we used to

2019Please support, been around along time, have better food and pay attention to the food more than almost all other Chinese type outlets, keep them open, you will...
