So, I came here in a desperate need for a space where I can be secure for network connectivity as I had a scheduled load shedding slot in my area for 4pm. When I got here I ordered a cuppachino with intention of buying some food for my son before I Ieave. I preferred to sit where I would not disturb anyone. I went back to the teller (Kgothatso) and asked them to please wipe the small table as it was dirty, but nobody arrived. So I sat at Then I saw someone sitting in the playplace and asked the lady I saw coming out of there (Julia) to please allow me to just sit in there for 30 minutes for my interview. She never came back to me, instead she went and told others that a customer is complaining and they all just had a laugh and the one lady said, “Why did she not ask who I am?” She was wearing gym attire, and I really did not understand, but I chose to ignore because I needed to focus on the interview. Firstly, she was nicely served with coffee on a tray whereas I had to go ask for my cuppachino twice and it was still not ready. Most the people who ordered here had their food brought to them. I usually buy through the drive-thru and don’t sit in. So I would consider myself a loyal customer, but little did I know what the actual customer service was like. What gave me chills is the way the lady looked at me as soon as I said I have an interview, I was short of begging and nobody seemed to care, I am typing this as I am looking at an employee having a nice meal in the playplace. So i came to the restaurant to redeem earlier on after discovering that i had points on my McDonald's App. As i was redeeming meals for my family. I was told that they only allow us to redeem to meals only when using points, but when we pay none of that applies. They even encourage us to use the App more often for the discounts that come with it. So when i was using my loyalty points to redeem a third meal, the cashier said she cannot help us any further. Then later came another female who suggested that they should cancel our order, and on top of that she never treated us like we were customers. I mean what's the use of using their App when they won't let us use our loyalty points. This other lady was rude, the security told us that she is the lobby person. She threatened to kick us out as if we were there disrupting how they go on about their business.
