I'm not too impressed with this Mugg and Bean. I am vegetarian and requested a swap out. I wanted a hashbrown instead of an egg. The waitress tells me that M&B policy is to not allow this. I then ask for the manager, and he confirmed this.

Now I don't know about this being standard policy, as I have been to several M&B in the past, and one in particular in the South of Jhb, and I have ALWAYS been accommodated for these minor requests. I do understand that prices differ for different foods. However, a hash brown for and egg swap was a reasonable request.

I eventually ended up paying for the full meal, requested that they don't put the egg, and I ended up paying for the hash brown as an extra.

I do not have a problem paying for what I order. But this, in principle, was out of line. In my humble opinion, the egg would be the more expensive food compared to a hashbrown. Amd they could have easily stopped this out.

I personally would not come to this particular M&B again, never mind my preference for MB's healthier meals when traveling.

The presentation of their food was below average at best. The avo on toast ordered for my mom was not in line with that which I am accustomed to having at other M&Bs. The guacamole that was put on my plate also left a lot to be desired, as it looked like it could have been prepared the day before.🤮

Maybe this branch of MB needs re-training by...

I had the pleasure of experiencing the most outstanding service from Siphesihle at Mug and Bean, OR Tambo. Her dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience was truly commendable.

Siphesihle went above and beyond to take care of all our needs. Her attentiveness and efficiency were remarkable. She anticipated our requests, ensuring that everything was delivered promptly and with a warm smile. Her friendly demeanor and genuine kindness made us feel truly valued as customers.

I cannot emphasize enough how Siphesihle's exceptional service elevated our visit to Mug and Bean. Her unwavering commitment to providing outstanding service was evident in every interaction. She made us feel welcomed and attended to with genuine care.

Looking forward to my next visit, I am thrilled to have had the pleasure of being served by Siphesihle. I highly recommend her as a server, as she embodies the epitome of exceptional service. Mug and Bean is truly fortunate to have such an extraordinary individual on their team.

Thank you once again, Siphesihle, for making our experience at Mug and Bean truly memorable. Your dedication, speed, friendliness, and attentiveness left a lasting impression. I eagerly anticipate my next visit and the pleasure of being served by...

It was Mothers Day and we were dropping my husband off for his flight. It took forever for someone to come and take our order for drinks. When I wanted to order soup with our drinks I was asked if the lady could first ring the drinks. When our drinks were eventually brought, I ordered food. We waited 40 minutes for our meal which was extremely Disappointing in taste and portion sizes as it was put into take away holders as we couldn’t sit and wait any longer. We even had to say goodby to my husband sitting in Mugg and Bean and couldn’t accompany him to the gate due to the huge delay in our food. My tomato sauce which was put into a normal coffee take away cup (ridiculous for the price I pay for it) has soo many tomato skin pieces in it. My sons avo (not crushed) avo on toast was dreadful for him to eat in the car on the way home. I asked for bread for my soup with butter and instead in the car discovered a sandwich with melted cheese. Mugg & Bean OR Tambo left a horrible taste in my mouth and I really felt done in with my time and money today. Not the standard I’m used to if I compare this branch to Irene Village Mall which is...

I love going to Mugg & Bean, been going to their restaurants for years... the food is always great and I love their coffee. Last time, however, I had terrible service at the M&B Cape Town airport. The waiter ignored us for the majority of the time we were sitting there... got our orders wrong the 1st time. On his return, he forgot half of my order. Then I asked for a refill of my bottomless coffee... he took my cup, but didn't come back with it... instead, and after waiting 20 minutes, he came with the bill... something we didn't ask for... and the restaurant was not even busy... This is an airport restaurant... orders need to come quicker as I was just on time to catch my flight in the end...

Flying is never enjoyable... We all know it. So when you arrive at the airport and get the service we did today..... You know that leaving this beautiful country will end on a high. We were greeted by a lovely man by the name of ALFRED. He was so friendly and helpful the whole time. He interacted with me and my wife regarding the menu and our few requests in regards to the food we ordered. Alfred is such a asset to the Mugg & Bean at OR Tambo that is would have been a shame not to leave this review. Also... The food was amazing. Super well done to the Chef in the Kitchen.

I had one of my fondest memories here!I loved the ambiance of the restaurant created with the plants and the woddy accents.I ordered the Big Daddy Burger which was tasted fresh and had all the flavors needed,I just wish it was a big juicer. The fries on the side were good ,fresh out the kitchen too,but I wish they were crisper. The Margarita was great,I do wish I didn't taste as much tequila though. All in all,it was an lovely experience and I would definitely recommend investing!
