We gave this place 3 tries each one was worse from the last. Firstly the service is appalling, every single time we came one of us ended up running around chasing the waiter from beginning of service to end. Last time we came, it took over an hour to get a simple green salad and an Eisbein we still had to run around, after the salad was brought, to find out where our Eisbein was. We wanted to buy yogurt, before we even set down we asked if they have it the waiter said yes asked how many we want and he'll put aside for us end of an extremely long lunch we are told there is not a single tab of yogurt. In the end when receiving the bill there was a random item added to the bill and then to top everything off we wanted to pay with 2 separate cards but the waiter swiped everything onto one. The owner took the Eisbein off the bill as an apology gesture but we will never come back here ever again. I usually work on Sundays and this experience really ruined my day which I took off specifically to enjoy...
Read moreA truly rewarding & memorable experience upon every visit . The food is Delicious! The farm produce is ridiculously cheap but #1 in the country , everything is off the grid & eco friendly and you can interact with the farm animals as well as horseback rides on certain days . And if time gets in the way of your fun you can always stay over in the bed & breakfast , get awoken by roosters before you enjoy lovely breakfast with eggs straight from the coop and ready to kick off the day again with a number of different activities . Definitely recommend this to families looking to give their kids unique memories and experiences you won't find anywhere else in Joburg. all the staff are enthusiastic and ready for any questions you might have so don't be shy to ask about the process behind each product , you'll find the answers quite...

If you don't eat pork you will struggle with the spit braai and many of the salads had one or more forms of pork. The coffee served in mugs was so weak that you could see the bottom of the mug. No teaspoons were bought with the coffee either. When the wind changed direction the stench was too terrible. Didn't realise there was a pig pen not 500 metres from...
