In 1994 we stayed in Randfontein. Our treat was visiting the Panarottis in Horizon View. Vividly I can recall the smell of baked/fried garlic in the restaurant and Spanish music. Those days we ordered a starter each, a pizza and pasta (hubby loved the Saltimbocca), a dessert as well as wine. In 1996 we moved to Orange Grove, Jhb - then Durbanville, Cape and back to Randburg, Jhb in 1999. Honestly, in all these years we haven't been to a Panarottis for dinner.

A while back, hubby stopped at Morning Glen Panarottis for coffee and to check his email. He chatted to the owner/manageress - and her brother was there - he started the Panarottis in Horizon View!!!

Last night we visited the Morning Glen Panarottis. Hubby chose the Mediterranean pizza (feta, rocket, pesto) and ordered extra Pepperoni. It was a fabulous pizza - didn't need the Pepperoni! So flavorsome!!!!!

I had my eyes on a starter ... deep fried Mac 'n Cheese balls. 4 on a plate with a Sweet Chilli dipping sauce. Delicious!!! Our waitress, Lenny (?) had a trainee badge and she was good. Lovely atmosphere, although we missed the garlic...

I came in during breakfast service, @9:10. The staff was very friendly although I couldn't get my original order which was a breakfast pizza which was explained away as that I could not have it since the oven was just turned on and I had to wait 20 minutes for it to warm up ( then why put a pizza as a breakfast option or why not turn the oven on when staff gets to the premises) anyway I picked an alternative and that turned out fine . I wanted yo get waffles with ice cream but the waffles maker was broken 😫. Ohh did I tell you when you order coffee/latte (hot beverage)you are given an unwrapped tennis biscuit 🤔 .how many hands have touched it 😓😥 Hopefully things are...
